Hearing For Madonna's Malawi Adoption Sets A Date

On May 4th, a three judge panel will hear an appeal to High Court Judge Esme Chombo's ruling to refuse Madonna's adoption of little Mercy.

High Court and Supreme Court of Appeal spokesman Joseph Chigona said, "Since this involves an infant it will be heard in chambers. This is an important case; that's why the chief justice himself has taken special interest."

The only people who care about how many top ten hits Madonna or Michael Jackson have had are Madonna and MJ fans only. Just because they’ve had all these accomplishments and hits doesn’t mean everyone has to like them. It also doesn’t mean if you do like one, you can’t like the other. Seems like every generation seems to pit these two artists, if not against each other, then against someone else (Prince vs. Michael, Madonna vs. Janet, Madonna vs. Mariah, Madonna vs. Britney, Madonna vs. everyone who simply sings better than her). If you were a true music fan, you wouldn’t have a problem with having a Madonna and MJ CD side by side in your collection. You shouldn’t base your taste in music on some imaginary competition. I can name a bunch of artists that I like that I find more talented than the two mentioned that most people have never heard of, or have never had so much of a gold record or hit single.
