Liev Schreiber And Naomi Watt's Infant Son Hospitalized

Liev Schreiber rushed home from Los Angeles to New York on Tuesday to be with his family after learning that his 21-month-old son, Sasha, was in the hospital with respiratory issues.
The actor missed the Hollywood premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine to be with partner Naomi Watts and their two kids.
Schreiber's rep says, "Sasha got home today and is feeling much better after being hospitalized on Tuesday night with respiratory problems."
We're glad to hear that everything is all right!

I've read that "Sasha" is a common nickname for Alexander in many countries an it's in honor of Liev heritage. It's a nickname but it's stuck and that's what they call him. So it's Alexander "Sasha" Pete and Samuel "Sammy" Kai. However I don't think this is widely known becasue I was confused reading it too.

Re: BugsZoom – You're absolutely right. I have Eastern Eurpean slavic roots and Sasha is simply a diminutive of Alexander (male) and Alexandra (female) in Eastern Europe. And by the way, I have a cousin Alexander whom everyone calls Sasha, and my grandmother's name was Alexandra, and everyone called her Sasha also.

21 months isn't a baby, it's a ful grown child. definetely not an infant. and to those who don't get Sasha name - maybe you should do some research first. It's russian name for boys mostly, but for girls as well. Just because americans adopted it as a girls' name dosen't mean shit.

They sons name is Alexander which in Russian is Sasha. Just to be clear iSacha Baron Cohen spells it with a C.
