I think her voice has improved with age…..plus I think the broadway type songs suit her voice better

Re: B in Austin – I agree with you. She has a tremendous voice now, but it was just average at the age of 22, or at least the song isnt suited to her vocal skills of that time. I am a fan of hers now though. Really enjoy listening to her stuff from Britains got Talent.
they should have fired the lighting guy and the makeup person.

Susan was actually very cute when she was younger, almost pretty! But her voice is much better now.

She's AWESOME! That's a hard song to sing! It has a lot of different octaves! She did her eyebrows back then too! I can see her cutting a CD very soon! I will definitely be buying it!

i can't stand this song anyhow - but she sings it better than 99.999% of the people i;ve had to listen to singing this… she is fantastic - looks kind of pretty here - but i agree with ultraworld - what a great person for putting her family first - don't see that much! can't wait to hear/see more from susan.. she is a one of a kind.
She's great…I'm sad that she sold out and changed her look though, that's what made her cool.

Here she looks quite cute, nice face, nice clothing (nice figure), the hair needed some help (just like today). It is ridiculous to expect for her to not dress up and have her hair done. She has a mind of her own, and clearly she had style (shown here, even when dressed casually). Everybody dresses according to the occasion. It is clear she was a bit stuck in terms of style, but her ambition never left her. I admire her guts, because she never gave up trying. Happy she finally got the attention she deserves.
She's crafted her skills to a higher degree over the years. Go Susan! Kick Butt!
I have to laugh at the people who say that they don't think that Susan Boyle is "very good", considering that most of the popular "singers" on the market now cannot even stay on tune through a dozen notes. This woman has a remarkable gift that she obviously was born with, and has continued to train and develop over time. I think it's about time that we start getting some musical artists who can actually sing on the market for those of us who actually can tell the difference!
