      First of all…to *stars101*…if you hate Madonna so much, why are you able to have a halfway decent knowledge of some of her biggest hits AND know the lyrics to them? I don't get it.

      Next…Lady GaGa is an excellent new musician, I absolutely love her. BUT…big but. She is still starting off and as such it's a little premature to be calling her anything but a young musician that shows great promise. I'm sure the majority of us will be watching her career with great interest…yes.

      And next…Britney Spears has been in this game for going on ten years now and she is still able to put a hit on the radio and sell some albums. If anything, her strengths have changed…she is able to sell the crap out of some singles via digital downloads now, and yes her album sales have slowed but really, whose hasn't? Those that are quick to place Rihanna and Lady GaGa above Britney need to think twice…if anything, Britney has shown the media that she has true staying power by overcoming her trials and tribulations and STILL managing to put out good music. I like Rihanna but right now I think she's still got a lot to prove.

      Finally…Madonna is, regardless of whether you want to admit it or not, the GOLD STANDARD by which all of these young ladies are being compared to. I don't like it…instead of saying Britney, Lady Gaga, Rihanna is the next Madonna, why can't they just be themselves? But nonetheless, she DOES have the most top ten singles of any solo artist to date…she IS the best-selling female artist in the world…she is now the highest grossing touring solo artist in the world…and yes, Hard Candy proves she is still relevant as it has sold nearly five million copies worldwide. To date. Those are pretty big numbers considering the sorry state of the music industry. And yes, it was her first album in America not to go platinum, but once again…as long as Madonna wishes to put out new music, she will continue to have a fanbase that supports her and that's pretty huge for an artist that's been in the game for over twenty-five years now to still put out gold and platinum albums. So don't hate…just enjoy the music.

Most of you believe Britney has no talent at all that is not true..For one she is a great dancer and can sing but just not live singing…Britney isn't so much of a singer than she is an entertainer i do love Britney a lot and will support her…Although most of you like Lady GaGa i do too she has wonderful songs butt 2 hits dont qualify you has Queen OF Pop…Britney has 6 platniumn albums and just had a HIT tour Circus and is still going Some of you may think shes old news but last time i checked Britney had sold out tickets in some of the biggest stadiums for her recent tour And has thousands that didn't attend…Britney has been going since 1999 and now its 2009….Some of you dislike her after wat happened theese past years on what she did so what she had bad times everyone goes through stuff like that but since shes in such a demand ppl heard about it but now Britney has cleaned her act and is back….And the Queen OF POP… WE LOVE You B SPEARS
