Wino Hospitalized - Again!
Amy Winehouse was taken to the hospital in St. Lucia, the Caribbean isle she's been staying at for months, her spokeswhore revealed on Saturday.
The reason?
"Dehydration".
Uh huh!
Says Wino's publicist: "She fainted at home (in St Lucia) and they took her in for observation, mainly to do with her medication to check everything was OK. They told her that she was dehydrated and needed to drink more water."
Ames had been "running around" with a group of children before she passed out, he said.
Wino is expected to perform at a jazz festival in St. Lucia this coming week, if she's feeling better.
And, in some good news for the perpetually troubled singer, her spokesman confirmed that Winehouse has obtained an injunction banning paparazzi taking photographs outside her London home.
Photogs are barred from following or approaching her within 100 metres of the house.

Let her whither and the same goes for all of the self destructive drug addicts out there. If you can't handle life or don't want to live it why should society as a whole intervene? There are too many people with diseases which were not brought on poor choices - (ie - kids, mothers, fathers with leukemia, cancer, lupus, etc). These victims or real disease deserve more of our resources - not weak minded addicts who choose to pollute their bodies with toxins.

I think part of the problem is that she gets treatment for everyone else - her family, the people who profit off of her. But she doesn't do it for herself so she will keep relapsing. It's so sad.

Have her commited. She is a danger to herself. You cannot force her to go to rehab, but you can commit her and she may come out on the other side. She may need psychiatric meds and never been treated properly.

I hope she is coming along in her recovery. Recovery for her may be something different from what I think it would be. If it is keeping her from abusing substances-alcohol, crack, meth-more power to her! I am trying to keep an open mind!

It can be pretty warm in St. Lucia. Very easy to get dehydrated, and double whammy if you've had a few. It sneaks up on you, and whammo, you too, can be Amy Winehouse.
