Hugh Jackman's new Wolverine film took in a very very impressive $35 million in the U.S. - on just Friday alone.

It's being projected that the movie should make around $85 mill for the weekend.

      I saw it and I thought the movie was fantastic! Those who don't like it probably are not familiar enough with the original X-Men to understand. Marvel stands by it's comics and this was created by Stan Lee- who also created the X-Men. The story board had to match the comic books. I thought they did an amazing job- and personally- I don't know who is hotter- Hugh Jackman or Liev Shreiber! (Well without the Saber teeth in his mouth and the cat claws, of course!).

      And also of note- Gambit's in the movie. (He was always my fav. X-Men character.

      I say- go see it and watch for yourself! But- Make sure you stay until ALL of the credits roll as there are TWO added scenes-one in the credits and one after!!!

      Umm…it was relatively mediocre. Jackman was hot and so was Ryan Reynolds, but story line was a little less than snoozy. Gambit was the shizzle though, I love N.O.

      explanied a lot, introduced some new X-men..hope Ms.Frost is in future movies..and why was that "person" not in a wheelchair at the end?

      The only thing not explained..Sabertooth was a brainless monster in the 1st X-men a pawn of Magneto..so what in the world happens to him? It would have been if Magneto would have shown up at the end also..and takes some of his henchmen.

      I wounder know if they will be a prequel with Scott, Storm, and some of the other teenage vets version and tell the stroy if them once they get on that helicopter?? Anyone see Toad, I read he was in it..

      btw- it will be interesting to see what they make next.. another prequel, since Xmen one states that Wolverine has roamed "15 years" til when they rescued him…plus Xmen 1, Sabertooth is muchhhh more evil, hardly even talks. They would have to put a LOT of makeup and hair on Liev. They could also make Xmen 4, since it shows Magneto moving the chess piece, and the secret scene at the very end with dr moira bringing Xavier back. Lot's of possibilites for these movies, love them! (I do hope they bring Gambit back)

      It was good fun, and definitely needed a big screen to catch the full punch. Jackman put up a good show, but Sabertooth was lacking something. Needed more Remy. That was a brilliant bit of casting that went largely unused.

      I saw the unfinished bootleg, and I thought it was excellent, considering the other X-men movies sucked butt. This is just entertainment, it's not a deep movie and isn't meant to be, only fun. I can't wait to see it in the theaters!

      I really liked it but I have liked all the movies and the cartoons. One thing I couldn't get into was the fact they made Wolverine and Sabertooth brothers. I was extremely confused by that and found it distracting the whole time. Coulda done so much more with so many of the characters like Wade,
      0, Frank, The Blob and Gambit. Liev was great as Sabertooth.

      Saw the movie was disappointed. It definitely deserved the "C" rating it got. I also saw Obsessed, and State of Play. Obsessed was more like a life time movie. Very slow. I could have waited for the DVD. STATE OF PLAY was in my opinion a great must see movie. Will keep you at the edge of your seat. I would definitely see that again. Wolverine was not worth my $9.75 i paid.

During the naked running through the farm thing scene….afterwards , you heard guys and girls say "mmf" and "unf" in a good way. Some chick was so loud we could hear her commentary from the back row. Despite the hotness of HJ, the movie was overall good even though in the comic, he and his brother are not really blood related. Better than X-men my guy friend didn't think so…only b/c he had to see HJ naked and there was no mystique to look at, I'm sure.
