Alcohol Poisoning - Again!
An unconscious David Hasselhoff was rushed to the hospital on Saturday, once more suffering from severe alcohol poisoning - according to reports.
The America's Got Talent judge has been battling a severe alcohol addiction for years - remember the drunken hamburger video????
The Hoff's teenaged daughter, 16-year-old Hayley, reportedly found him passed out on the floor of his Encino, California, home.
The frightened teen called her mother, David's estranged ex-wife Pamela, who rushed over and took him to the emergency room at Cedar's Sinai Medical Center.
Uhmm….
1) Why didn't they call an ambulance?
and
2) Why didn't they take him to a hospital that was closer to Encino, instead of Cedar's, which is all the way in Beverly Hills???

A source claims that a frightened Hayley kept “slapping her dad’s face” to keep him alive. “He was barely breathing when they got him at the hospital. He’s recovering. Pam was his bedside till 4a.m. this morning. This is about the 7th time he’s been taken to a hospital over the last few years with alcohol poisoning. How many visits will it take before he dies?”

They took him themselves rather than call an ambulance to try to keep it private and spare him public embarrassment. Family members of drinkers are quite used to finding their loved ones passed out. It may not have even occurred to them that he could die; but they did do the right thing and took him to be checked. Adult drinkers usually pass out before ingesting a toxic volume of alcohol. Teen and young partiers, however, can die from drinking too much in drinking contests, challenges etc., which push alcohol consumption way past normal limits.
Is that why his boobies are all sweaty?
Alcoholism is not a disease and never let anyone try to tell you that. AA is a horrible organization. Drinking is a habit some people fall into and can be a tough one to break. But you are by no means powerless or forever diseased. A ton of people successfully quit drinking completely on their own. Some former heavy drinkers even enjoy the occasional frosty beer or single cocktail from time to time. This BS of disease and powerless and can never drink again only crept up about 50 years ago. People have been former drunks for about 10 thousand years.

my friend was in a restaurant last week while the Hoff was there. He said DH was soooo drunk that they had to escort him out because he couldn't walk.

Alcoholism sucks ASS. Watched my best, best friend's mom deal with it for so many years. We all tried. All of us. Everyone did their best. She went to Betty Ford, other less famous rehabs, even jail a few times. She just couldn't stay sober, despite having a beautiful family who loved her so much. She did finally die. Like MOST alcoholics, she died from hitting her head from falling (meaning, most alcoholics who die as a direct result of their alcoholism do so from a fall, not liver failure, etc.). Their bodies are so ravaged that a common fall causes a bleed out in their brain, and they die a couple days later. The families then usually say that it was an accident and not the alcoholism, but, sadly, this is another way to gloss over the terrible depths of this horrendous sickness. It was the alcoholism. She had liver failure, etc., too … but cause of death, as usual, is "accidental head trauma." Seems like that's the road David Haselhoff is headed, and there's nothing anyone can do about it. It's up to him. I think it is a great picture Mario put up. It shows that the picture of health (Baywatch) is now the picture of sickness. His insides look even worse … so sad.

His daughter finding him like that, of course she'd panic and not call the ambulance first! It's not fair to judge someone in a situation like that. No doubt the poor girl was terrified.
I hope he gets all the help he needs and this ends up being a wake up call.

the hospitals around here arent amazing
they treat you horribly
dont come to the valley to go to the hospital
its just a decent quieter place then hollywood
aslo if they took him to a closer hospital the employees would get start struck
the people working at the hospitals here are low class disgusting people
so i don't blame them
