Britney's Concert From Hell!

To say that Brit Brit's concert at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut was a hawt mess is an understatement!
Not only did Spears fall while dancing during Get Naked, but one overzealous and disrespectful fan also rushed the stage during the encore!
"This guy ran across the stage and towards Britney during Womanizer," one of many Perezcious readers in attendance tells us. "He attempted to dance with Britney!"
Spears did not find it amusing and luckily her dancers got him off the stage quickly, where he was promptly detained - and we're assuming arrested. However, "Britney looked extremely spooked."
Poor Brit Brit.
Have some class, y'all. Don't frighten the performers like that!

Arrested for going onstqage? STRANGE…at first, I thought this was a JOKE. When you go to German rock concerts of famous rock groups - such as for example Toten Hosen (BIGGER in Germany and South America than Britney!) - there are ALWAYS climbing fans on stage and even sing along with the singer, who doesn t mind at all about this! Only if after a few minutes that person still has not jumped back into the audience does - sometimes - a security man softly(!) get them off stage…

Also at other concerts in Europe, fans often climb on stage during concerts or festivals such as Rock am Ring (which you maybe even you in the U.S. KNOW of as its shown live sometimes on MTV..) and dance and sing along with the performers….what s WRONG with it in Britney s case? She should be GLAD some fan still gets as EXITED about her singing and performance that he enters the stage, don t you think!?' …*G*

Re: Duckie I agree. I'm from Holland myself and I go lots of rock concerts, and yes people run on stage all the time. They sing into the mic (I've done that myself lol) and they dance with the band members. There are very few cases in which the fan has bad intentions, and if so, the security is there to help the artist out. Britney should be glad to have at least one fan who is excited enough and has the guts to run on stage. It's actually a lot more fun to go to a concert where there's a bit of spontanity, in stead of one where everything has been studied.

Re: Duckie – obviously germany has a lot more concerts than the US or here in Canada. you guys rock, i got a friend who keeps sending photos of all kinds of reggae concerts, and rock concerts, and the fans do go crazy, but no one gets arrested, its fans! that's what they do !

Did she gain weight since the tour started? She is looking more and more trashy and doughy as this concert goes on. Even her weave is starting to look busted again! And I STILL, after all this time, can't get over the fact that she thinks it's OK to lip sync at concerts. Who the fuck does that??? I would NEVER pay to see that.

I was at that concert and where as i don't remember her falling, i do remember what an amazing show Britney put on. AMAZING. I also saw her in boston and it wasn't nearly as good as last night. I'm sure things like this happen, and have happened during her entire career while she's on tour. However it's the day and age of the cell phone, and camera where her every move is caught on tape. I don't think these strings (no pun intended) of events make her anything BUT a performer. The same stuff happens to other stars. However, the guy who rushed the stage is incredibly creepy, and freaked ME out, let alone britney. Her dancers got him, then a bodyguard. Wonder if he's feeling good today….? ha
the concert was great last night. i was there. i was blown away by it. brit did terrific. get off her back.

really? i went to her concert on wednesday in chicago and it was AMAZING. she did a great job and i had the time of my life
Concert goers were more enthralled by the circus acts and the pyrotechnics than britney's performing skills. Everything was glossy and beautiful and very entertaining. But Britney's soul wasn't there ! she could have been a drag queen on stage (or anyone for that matter) and who looked like britney. there was zero rapport from the audience.

Despite her sloppiness, this isn't an impromptu stage performance!
In order for her sheep, ehem fans to enjoy this ridiculously elaborate choreographed and uber expensive sideshow, it is expected that all goes smoothly, which obviously doesn't include potential psychopaths trampling the stage.
Despite my criticism, I do feel sorry for her and can completely understand WHY she decided on "Circus" do describe this album and chapter of her life.
She is trying to go along with this mess via parody, but the transparency of it all is undeniable.

I took my daughter and her friends, and none of us can remember seeing Brit fall, so if she did, it wasn't anything big at all, especially since she finished the show.
As to the asspit that jumped on stage, he stopped about 8 feet away, and never attempted to touch or grab Brit, and she never lost her step, just kept dancin.

for the record I was at the concert and she was amazing (minus the britastic hair extensions). I was really close to the stage and her fall must have been small because I missed it…and I was watching like a hawk for the craziness. The guy that was up on stage got what he deserved b/c the body guards tacked him in mid air to get him off the stage. I think it took the crowd a sec to realize that wasn't part of the performance. She looked really spooked and down when she came off stage…I felt bad for her. There was no excuse for that to happen especially since it was a small arena and there were tons of body guards. GO BRIT BRIT! (ps I think they cut the concert short b/c of it)

The gentleman simply approached her to demand his money back…a perfectly legitimate reason. If you're going to present a completely fabricated show with 100% lip-synching, you need to specify such on the ticket. Otherwise, it is fraudulent. There is an implied assumption that the performer possesses some amount of talent. You pay a lot of money, you go to see this pudgy talentless idiot lip-synching, you get pissed off. Any intelligent person would naturally want their $$$ refunded. This guy was the only smart person in that entire audience. The rest of 'em were just suckers!!!!
aw, for the falling part - it happens! One time out of how many concerts… that's pretty amazing! No matter what though her show is the most incredible and fascinating show I have ever been to!
As for the creeper who went on stage… either too much alcohol or is just plain stupid haha… hopefully she is OK though.

I was at this concert, and it was not at all the "concert from Hell". Britney did a terrific job. She had one little slip, but considering all of the dancing in this show, it is to be expected. As for the fan, he ran on stage and up to Britney, she did dance with him, till her dancers took him off the stage. He was an idot. The show was fantastic.
Also towards the middle of the show her two little boys were carried to the side of the stage when it was dark and she kissed them goodnight, it was very sweet.
Why did you agree to be part of this tour Perez, and then keep putting it down.
I was at that concert last night. I did see her fall but she covered it up pretty well by just getting right back up. And My mother and I were standing in a little area with black telephones, and the moron who jumped on stage was pushed through the security doors crying and in handcuffs. -Brianna

The problem is typical American HYSTERIA….do your celebs REALLY believe that they can prevent being killed by some lunatic stalker by preventing them from entering the stage during a live performance? If I were a stalker, I d certainly use a BETTER opportunity than a live concert where there ARE securities. These are usually just normal enthusiastic FANS who see a chance of onc ein their life being physically close to their idol. I ve for example been to more than 300 Toten Hosen concerts in my lifetime! And seen literally HUNDREDS of fans entering the stage at Rock am Ring and other venues….NEVER ever did a Germanband get HYSTERICAL because of it!
