Dear Perez,
I have been religiously reading your blog for years . Thank you so much for advocating for Brain Tumor research. My family has been dealing with this battle for three years now. The emotional and physical toll that brain tumors take on a family is staggering. This week is brain tumor awareness week. Thanks again for publishing this issue to the masses, helping to make others aware!
Dang, as much as you make fun of David Cook, it is pretty nice for you to put this in here. This doesn't just affect adults like Adam Cook. There are tiny babies and toddlers going through this with their families every day here in Memphis at St. Jude. I SO admire David Cook for taking this on and carrying the torch for his bro.
Thanks Perez. I had a family member go through 2 years of Brain Tumor Recovery. Its nice to see it acknowledge. Its not something i would say is easy to go through Ever. Perez, thank you for posting this up on your site. My father passed away 6 months ago from brain cancer, a tumor that took his life. Losing him has been the most painful thing I have ever gone through. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, and anyone who has lost a loved one to this terrible disease. I hope that through awareness a cure will be found one day that will save many more lives.
