Rihanna Cancels Comeback Concert!

This is sad news.
As we mentioned last month, Rihanna was set to make her comeback performance on May 28th with a major concert in Dubai, her first official public appearance and performance since all the Chris Brown drama.
The concert had been promoted for weeks and was definitely going to be huge. "Was" is the keyword as the concert has now been cancelled!!!
According to Vibe Event Management, the company promoting the event, the concert is officially off.
Managing director Yassin Matbouly just stated that “We want to share with you that Rihanna and her management will not be accepting to hold a public concert at this time as it is not appropriate timing for her.”
We hope RiRi does make her comeback sooner than later and can put the whole Chris Brown douchebag ordeal behind her!

4 sum1 that isn't ready for a concert she seems ready to go out and party every night….oh well if its any consolation I went to her concert and it's not that great your not missing out on much I would say save your money……Rihanna emmmm I suppose I should say stay strong but to be completly honest I'm quickly losing sympathy for you even though I'm happy your not with Chris anymore! Anyway Chris for you PLEASE PLEASE man up and accept your punishment I mean I'm your #1 fan but your really REALLY annoying me with this hiding thing just admit it and take your punishment it'll be better for you in the long run!

she can't sing anyway, these pretty girls, then they make they voices, HOWard STERn showed his audience how it's done, they can't even carry a tune, so why go see them, I love LIVE LIVE music, that's a thing of the past with these pretty faces, all PRErecorded. I saw REM and they were flawless, gotta get away from these beautiful people and back to REAL singers.

hey ri ri needs to just continue being herself, stay prayed up, continue to stay focused, and hopefully everything will work out for her and her career. however, even though her and cb have eventually moved on, they both should still support each other because they will both need to someday.

I'm glad she cancelled, although I don't know the reason.
Rihanna should be taking some time for herself right now… I disagree with the whole "return to work" thing in her case. And as any woman who has been abused, and has ended the relationship, she needs time on her own to deal with her reasons for allowing it to happen in the first place.
I know, work can be therapy, but as a role model for young women - whether she wants to be or not - I hope she makes a conscious effort to demonstrate that she takes this seriously, and takes the time by herself to allow what happened with Chris to sink in. IN PRIVATE.
And, perhaps even see a therapist. Domestic battery is serious shit, and I think her youngest fans need to see an adult woman taking responsibility for herself by getting help, NOT ignoring it by returning to the stage to belt out teenybopper tunes.
