ScarJo's Film Cut!

Scarlett Johansson's directorial debut has been dropped from New York, I Love You.
Comprised of several shorts from a variety of directors, I Love You revolves around a theme of love in the Big Apple.
But, contrary to what we'd like to believe, ScarJo's piece - shot in black and white and following an OCD Kevin Bacon who finds inner peace with a hot dog on Coney Island - wasn't actually that bad, it just didn't fit in thematically. There's not that much dialogue and it's…different.
But the short isn't about to die on the cutting room floor. It will be used as part of the film's promotional material, alongside a piece from Russian filmmaker Andrei Zvyagintsev which also didn't make it into the final version.

i get why they did it, in the original french version all the minifilms were different but they still gelled together as one piece
Uh, what happened to her? I used to think she was cool, in "Ghost World" etc but now…she seems so lame…she looks like fucken Cher in the above picture….blah..

this is OLD news at this point. Wow, Perez, you're losing your touch…must be too busy whoring yourself out to keep up with the news that made you famous to begin with
this movie is exactly the same as the parisian version - Paris, Je T'aime, and in that all of the minifilms were very different, but as the central theme was love in paris that created the only needed theme to join to join the minifilms together as one.

jury is still out on her… not sure if i like her (or her look) or not. fo sho tho, i don't like this look on her (tho again, old pic perez- maybe something more current would be nice). only thing i like is that she's doing something other than hollywood's obvious blonde thing… but, the hair is too greasy straight… ruins the entire thing.

boo hoo. I was sooo longing forward to it, NOT. This chick looks like a tranny, sounds like a dude and seems like a bitch. Every movie she has been in was ruined because of her "acting". Ghost World would have been awesome if she wasn't in it.
HAHA GOOD! She looks like a FLAPPER from the 20s….or was that the 30s? Either way, she looks so freaking old fashion and just plane WEIRD! She acts weird too! Look at that dress….what the hell is she thinking?
