Shia's Mom: Naked and Scary!
So, apparently, Shia LaBeouf had an "interesting" childhood and he felt the desperate need to share it with Playboy magazine. Dr. Phil was busy!
He shares some interesting tidbits about his past, including his parent's frequent drug use and his Mom's tendency to walk around naked when his friends were around.
In the June issue, he recalls how weird it was having his "little buds over and Mom's, like, playing naked connect the dots or whatever." Creepy!
And sometimes, she wasn't even alone: "She's in the middle of goddess-group time, where it's literally a bunch of naked women tracing auras around one another's bodies with incense and then sitting together and humming for prolonged periods of time."
On top of living in a nudist camp, he also recalls his parents liberal attitude towards drugs. "Marijuana was always around."
But perhaps the most disturbing fact to come out of this little one-on-one was that Shia loves his Mom WAY more than a grown man should.
"Probably the sexiest woman I know is my mother," he says. "She's an ethereal angel. Nobody looks like that woman. If I could meet my mother and marry her, I would. I would be with my mother now, if she weren't my mother, as sick as that sounds."
It actually does sound REALLY sick, Shia.

I don't think its creepy at all! I love a boy who loves his mamma! It is a special and meaningful relationship between a son and his mother and all Shia was doing was relaying that he wishes to meet someone like his mum. I completely understand that. Anyone who takes it beyond that is making assumptions and you know what they say about assumptions. Good for you Shia.. My 4 year old tells me he wants to marry me every day and its the cutes thing ever! One day he will outgrow that and want a lady that is as good and sweet to him as I am …there is nothing Oedipus about that…did he say he wanted to kill his pops? No.. grow up people..

Sexual attraction and curiosity for our parents is a part of our deepest primal urges, and develops in infancy and childhood. It is a base physical and pheromonal (sp?) aspect of sexual desire that is ALWAYS present, if not always recognized, and understood.
How many men and women out there choose partners who resemble their parents, physically or otherwise? It's the same shit, and Shia is just putting it out there. I never really liked this guy until he came out with this comment, actually, as strange as that sounds. Takes guts.

But it IS a part of our sexual maturation process when we can understand our desires, and are capable of taking those basic primal urges and forming healthy sexual relationships with those other than our parents!
