Straight Up! New Music from Paula Abdul

Get excited people because Paula Abdul will soon be infecting introducing a new single to the world.
We kid. We kid.
We're actually really excited about the song!
The new single, Here For the Music, will be available via PaulaAbdul.com in the next few weeks while the full Abdrool album will ("allegedly") be out by Fall 2009 on Filament Entertainment Group.
The reason we're excited for the new Paula song is that the single reunites Abdul with producer Oliver Lieber, who produced her classic album Forever Your Girl.
We're also hearing some loud rumblings that the half-baked diva might even perform the song on Idol.
Make it happen, Idol producers!
P.S. Paula, there's no lipsynching on Idol!

Paula Abdul is a fierce performer. She could dance circles around Madonna and Britney Spears both (and that's saying alot). Is she a great singer - no. Is she a great dancer - no question about it. Her songs were addictive and she could deliver them with precision. In her day, Paula Abdul was the bomb. No one, except Janet Jackson, came even close to her level of showmanship. Just watch a clip from "Cold-hearted" on YouTube and you'll see that woman can dance. Sing - not so much- but dance, most definitely.
