Our culture can't leave well enough alone!
It's not just enough for a person to be talented, we have to shove her into our cookie cutter-ideals.
Here's Susan Boyle on her continued makeover path as she leaves her house in West Lothian, Scotland, on Monday and smiles for the paps.
Before long she'll be blonde and tanned out of a bottle, and flashing her vajayjay all over the tabloids!
On second thought, that wouldn't be such a bad thing after all!

Who cares if she plucked her eyebrows and dyed her hair! She was a looker (well as much as anyone was) in the 80s. Let her have her moment and take care of herself a little. None of it will effect her voice!
SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL PERSON WITHOUT THE MAKEOVER…SHE HAS A BEAUTIFUL SPIRIT..AND PPL SHOULD NOT BOTHER HER ABOUT HER LOOKS. SHE HAS NATURAL TALENT AND THAT MORE THAN I CAN SAY FOR SOME OF THESE PPL OUT HERE THAT ONLY HAVE TALENT THANKS TO THE HELP OF OVER PRODUCED SONGS AND BACK UP SINGERS….

The only notable difference is that she had her eye brows waxed…. and that needed doing.
Other than that… not much of a make over!!

the thing is a voice is seen as an um..organ as in the song of the mermaids-so it's kinda like the square peg in the round hole( unfortunate imagery)

It is called GROOMING Perez. Not a make-over. It is normal for people to try to make themselves look nice if they know they are going to be photographed. She still looks like herself. She just tidied up a bit. Who cares??? Leave the woman alone!

Her "makeover" is very subtle and she still looks like herself, only a little more pulled together. There's nothing wrong with that. Most women today color their hair and certainly wax or pluck their eyebrows. Why is it a big deal to you Perez if she tidied herself up a bit? It's not as if she got botox'd, nipped and tucked, trout lipped, or lipo'd so leave her alone already. She looks great.

Hi there Everybody, hope your having a great day!. You know, when a lady starts to feel better about herself - like worldwide interest and 100+hits on the internet might make her - she suddenly has energy and interest to fancy herself up a bit. Instead of thinking that she is selling herself short by changing her hair color or plucking some hair please realize that she is pampering herself for the first time in her life. For the younger folks out there please understand that life can beat the energy out of you(beat the crap out of you from time to time too). She put everyone before herself and now she can put herself first. Yeah to Susan!!! She is a 47 year old Scottish woman. I think she knows who she is - THAT'S WHY WE LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!!!

what……? i hope that this is the furthest extent to which she gets a "makeover"; i think that she's so lovable because of her natural looks and inner beauty. she looks very sweet, but i still prefer her real look.

Also I first heard her sing on the RADIO and I had no clue what she looked like, and the music was divine, so none of this has anything to do with her looks. She has an amazing voice. End of story.

I think she looks much nicer! She looks like a very happy person!!! Without sounding sarcastic, she has a cute face, it's just her chin. When she looses weight (she's already lost some!) it will go away! I think she'll be like a swan!

Now that she's waxed those eyebrows, she doesn't really need to do anything else. Maybe losing weight to get healthier, but nothing extreme.
