She Sucks but then so does the show.

3 judges. 4 doesn't work for any talent show, not x-factor and not American Idol.

She was OK–it's just too many judges==and only so many opinions can fit that format before it gets repetitive and boring.

I like her. At least she isn't afraid to tell the truth. Paula wouldn't tell anybody anything that hurt their feelings, even if they needed to hear it.

I say if they want a new judge they have to drop a current one. Four doesn't work. Last week after the show - she immediately left the panel while the cameras were still rolling and Paula, Randy & Paula hung out it was obvious there was tension….

She's ok. I think that she has brought something extra. But I love me some crazy Paula. She always looks HIGH as kite.

i can't stand kara! she doesnt add anything to the show and only takes up the shows time. i think 4 judges could work if they had someone else but kara is obviously upset that she was never a successfuly recording artist and had to sell her songs to other artists to sing. i was embarressed for her when she starting trying to sing over bikini girl in the auditions. shes like a high school wannabe trying to be the popular girl but it never works out. x factor introduced cheryl cole as the fourth judge and it actually worked on that show because cheryl has "that special quality" that the audiences love. and KARA LACKS THAT. i hope she gets fired and they go back to the 3 judges or get a new fourth judge that actually is entertaining and has some good input

i hate paula and i think she cannot speak her own mind but i think paula is way better than kara cuz kara is an exact copy of her.

Personally I like to hear someone that actually knows something about music and songs. Keep Kara, Paula's clueless and disoriented.

They should scale back to three, for sure. But get rid of Paula Abdul! She makes no sense, provides no constructive criticism, and I'm sick to death of watching her and Simon flirt and slap and bat their eyelashes at each other like a couple of school kids in the playground.

Kara gives good solid advice, constructive criticism, appropriate praise, and she stays on topic! She doesn't go on and on about what the contestant is wearing, for God's sake, but talks about their voices!

i think that that four judges its stupid, but i actually like Kara more than Paula. Kara has an opinion and actually makes sense. The only thing Paula brings to the show is a wasted drunk babbling woman whose comments rarely make any sense. So yeah, id keep Kara and boot Paula and ur good ^_^

The high number of votes say that people who voted don't like 4 judges over 3. They didn't say that it was Kara that should go. I hate your biased "reporting"!

"here's the thing," i like kara— but the idea that she was TO REPLACE paula has probably killed her. nobody can get put on that panel unless queen paula is vocal with her support. (i love queen paula- would NEVER want kara to replace her- but do like the 4th voice.) did anyone see the episode where simon is making gag/vommit faces as kara is talking? it was SO bizarre- and they tried to switch the camera off of him, but not quickly enough. it seems very school clique with kara not being accepted by the popular kids. but, i don't think it was her fault- they just introduced her in such a clear bid to try to get paula to think she was less important come contract negotiating time… i.e., to save a buck. looks like they shot themselves in the foot, b/c kara has only proved how crucial paula is.

One only needs extra judges if the others aren't doing there jobs! Simon alone would work for me. He tells the truth when the others do not have the guts!

i don't like the 4 judge thing, but i think kara makes way more sense and is more coherent than paula.

if anyone should leave i think it should be randy.
he has no constructive criticism and alweays says the same.
paula isnt that good either, and simon is gonna leave soon anyway so why kick out the only hope for the show?

Simon, Adam Lambert, and Kara are the only three people keeping me hooked to idol this season. Most years I catch the audition shows to have a laugh, but Kara's presence reeled me into the main competition this time around. Kara initially seemed and ultimately has proven to be more relevant than Paula or Randy. At least Paula's tension with Simon is a main artery of the show…similar to the sexual tension Ryan Seacrest has, and which he can only hope Simon one day reciprocates.

I'm sure a lot of people don't feel the same way, but it seems like Randy should get the boot. He comes across uninteresting and irrelevant to the outcome of the competitors.

Kara's not bad but she entered such an institution, sitting next to the other three. It would be tough for anyone. I do wish, however, she wouldn't show us her armpits so much when she waves hi at the start of the show.

I think they need to keep Kara. Paula's opinions are benign and are not helpful to the contestants. It's cool that she's trying to keep some egos from being crushed but there is such a thing as being too gentle. Music is a cut throat industry and the judges really need to be representative of that world. Even if Kara is booted after this season of AI, at least she got lots of media exposure. Everyone wins.

They should have never fucked with it in the first place, now they have all these people that have different opinions on who should stay, who should go, how many judges, 3 or 4? I think they're going to be screwed no matter what they do. They're just going to be like, Oh forget it now let's just go back to the way it was maybe nobody will remember that we once had this 4th judge…. If they're smart they'll just keep it the same and accept the decision they made when they took Kara on, before they piss off more fans of the show. And that is how I feel! (I can't believe I just wasted so much time on this shit, like honestly who gives a fuck, really?)

They need to get rid of her and go back to three judges ! This is the first year that I did not watch and AI and if they want to keep her or any other 4th judge, I can find another show to watch or better yet read a good book.

I say they should bring another train wreck to American Idol like Cindy Lauper. Love the cat fights with Paula. I heard through a great source of mine that Cindy Lauper was in a gay bar called Therpy in NY and left without paying her tap.

4 judges are too much. Would rather see Paula go and Kara stay. They both ramble on and on and say nothing substantial.

I think Kara actually brings good comments and knowledge to the panel. At least she's not bull-crapping out of her ass because she's drugged out. She actually knows whats going on. Funny thing is, Paula seems like she took a few lessons in the technicality of singing for this new season. She still sucks. Ppl want Paula because she's easy. Hint: Life ain't fair

honestly i like Kara more than i like Paula, Kara tells it like it is and doesn't sugar coat it like Paula does. She's tough yet loving, if anything Paula needs to go.
