BILLY ELLIOT IS A GREAT SHOW!!!

  8. 8

GOOD MORNING DONG! HOW ARE U TODAY SIR?

  9. 9

9 to 5 wasn't a surprise. It wasn't the best show…people only go to see Megan Hilty and Stephanie J Block rock it out every night. Those Woman are Fierce. BTW Allison Janney shouldn't be nominated, shes a wonderful actress but who shouldn't sing.

Its a sad day for Title of Show, they only got nominated for one tony, they had a wonderful original show and because people like seeing little boys dance more than they like good theatre, title of show gets screwed. Oh well, they still have their online fan base.

And I am calling it right now, Next To Normal is going to win for best new musical. Those people are FIERCE. So don't be surprised when those dancing boys go home crying.

Equus should have received more nominations. Daniel and Richard were superb!

  11. 11

i cant believe Constantine Maroulis is nominated for a tony!?! good for him … I think Angela Lansbury better win Best Features Actress…she lost a couple years ago, and she's getting too old. Vote for her, Academy!

  12. 12

billy eliot is my ALL TIME favourite film, im going to london to see it in the summer! cant wait!

Re: kmkreidell – Agreed 100%!!! It's sad that most people think that production value is directly proportional to quality of the production. Shrek has more nominations than [tos]? Though, Sutton Foster and Brian D'Arcy James are pretty fierce.

And I definitely agree that 9 to 5 wasn't at all the best production, though it was one of the most hyped. And not only was the cast star-powered, but the production staff are some of the most fabulous names in the business. Agree that Next to Normal should win, given the choices!

  14. 14

Congrats to Rock of Ages!! Don't stop believin' that classic rock can kick ass on Broadway!!
