He freaked out because he's playing Salvador Dali, a man that was terrified by his sexuality and basically anything sexual. He was a brilliant artist with a lot of issues … Rob has gotten a ton of praise for his role, and before you start, it doesn't mean he's gay. Both actors have a lot of guts to take on these roles. It's kinda pathetic that so many people out there are either homophobes or dumb ass teenies that will only see Rob as Edward Cullen, and neither group will be able to see the beauty of this film.
I saw this last week and this is the only really sexy scene. It's a decent fiim, but the guy playing Lorca really stole the spotlight. And for the record it was Lorca who was a homosexual, not Dahli. Dahli was actually pretty afraid of sex in general and female genitalia. This clip cuts right before Dahli has a freak out and backs out of it.

Obviously no one here knows a damn thing about Salvador Dali and is talking out of their ass and that includes the Homophones making ignorant statements and the twits fearing Robert P. is gay. 1. He’s an actor playing a role. And like any true actor he has committed to the role of Salvador Dali. 2. Salvador Dali was a brilliant, not to mentions insane, man with a lot of issues. From his fear of Vagina’s to his obsession with his mustache which was his way of becoming surreal in a real world. He had a relationship with Lorca, which he denied but I believe he did, as a young man then later married a woman; he admitted would benefit his career, whom he allowed to sleep with young men while sometimes watching but never having sex with her himself. He was unsuccessful in having sex with anyone having deep issues about his body and physical contact. The man was brilliant, inspired, and very tortured. This movie is a wonderful addition to the cinema to catalog the life and struggles of one of the world’s brilliant surrealists. So stop making it a gay straight issue and take it for what it is. A Film about a brilliant mans life in the early years.

One more thing. Don’t worry whether an actor is gay or straight. Actors are artists who play roles in movies or on stage that are meant to provoke thought inspire emotion or just flat out entertain with big explosions and awesome fight scenes. Even if he was gay you girls out there gotta face facts. You’ll never have him ever so stop acting that his being gay is gonna ruin your chances. Be happy with the fantasy in your mind cause that’s as close as your gonna get and his orientation doesn’t mean a blasted thing when it comes to your own personal fantasy. Frankly I think it was brave of him to take on this role and proves that he is a committed and exceptional actor who puts the role before his personal ideology. He showed amazing chemistry and intensity of emotion in Twilight and he has not put the same passion in Little Ashes, which I applaud. Though if the rumors are true about his hygiene I feel sorry for any actor, male or female, who’s got to swap spit with him.
He may be a brilliant knew actor and an attractive man but as a human being he needs to commit to a bar of soap a toothbrush and some shampoo. It’s just a matter of Hygiene for heavens sake.

I really want to see this movie but I can't deal with the fan-girls. Can't do the giggling and sheit like they did when I was forced to see Twilight. Javier is HAWT but his acting looks superb.
