Woody Allen: Leave My People Out Of It!
Woody Allen is pissed. And rightly so!
The acclaimed director is in disputes with retailer American Apparel over trademark infringement after the company used his image on several billboards in both New York and LA and on website ads without getting his consent. For the past year, Allen has been fighting to receive more than $10 million dollars from the company.
But, now, with the trial coming up on May 18th, American Apparel is requesting witnesses such as Allen's wife Soon-Yi Previn and his ex-girlfriend Mia Farrow.
And Woody ain't happy about it.
The director's lawyers filed a motion with the Manhattan federal court yesterday asking for a court order preventing American Apparel from calling witnesses and introducing evidence "concerning Mr. Allen's personal and family life."
The lawyers insist that this is just a crappy move to turn the situation into more of a scandalous spectacle than it needs to be.
We like a good spectacle!

It seems like American Apparel is being a bit infantile. I don't think I'll be shopping there again. I think this is all rather disgusting and unnecessary for them to do, as much as I can't stand Woody Allen. They don't have a very good excuse, either.

Soon-Yi was not Allen's adopted daughter…. she was Andre Previn's daughter with Mia Farrow. Soon Yi was a fully grown woman (22) when she decided to be with woody Allen. She was not underage, nor was she coerced into it. They have bee together for 12 years. Have any of you seen the movie Wild Man Blues? It shows Woody on a Jazz tour and there is a lot of footage of him with Soon Yi. watch that and then tell try to tell me that their relationship is unhealthy. they are great together. fuck off haters.
