Jon Gosselin DENIES Affair! Kate Comes Out On The Offensive

Several witnesses and friends have come to Jon Gosselin's defense, but now Jon AND Kate Gosselin are speaking for themselves.
The couple talked to Entertainment Weekly about their recent brush with the tabloid "fabricated" affair.
Kate says:
"It's disturbing and unfortunate that these tabloids have gone as far as they have to try and bring us down. Jon's poor judgment and irresponsible behavior has also without a doubt caused some added tension and stress between the two of us."
Uh-huh. Because there was ZERO tension before.
They both go on to say that their main concern will always be to keep their family safe and as normal as possible. When asked about the new season, which debuts May 25th, and if they will discuss the incident, Kate says that they will address only the "very public focus" on their family and the stress it's caused in their relationship.
You know, it was only a matter of time before this show embraced the true nature of reality tv: Epic Bitchfights!

Why are they having another season??? They clearly ended last season with Jon stating he didn't want to do any more. Kate, of course, said she like doing to show. Surprise, surprise…. look who won that argument. Wouldn't it be best for the family (the kids) to just go away for a while.

I think they should just end the show. In the last season it's become unenjoyable to watch. They got what they wanted from the show, tons of money and some fame…let them go off an enjoy it out of the public eye before the court of public opinion turns on them. I've watched the show a few times and always have the same feeling after each episode. Kate is a controlling A type personality. Not that I'm defending Jon, I just can't stomach that horrible woman. "Reality" shows always end the same in real life. The family unit ends up in shambles but hey so what because now you have enough money to buy a huge house on 35 acres. Honestly, this show has got to end! Ever since they made money and moved into their "mansion", went on lavish vacations, got plastic surgeries, hired a personal chef, the show has been unrelatable and uninteresting to watch. I used to be a big fan of the show, but I have not watched a single episode of their last season. I think they are running out of storylines, it's like watching MTV Cribs with 8 kids. I find it very "interesting" that all this gossip is coming out right before their new season begins on May 24.
Let's face it - they lost a lot of fans and their ratings are low so they need some DRAMA.

Jon clearly showed some resentment towards Kate, on the episode when he took the boys golfing for a 'guy's day out'. He made some comments about how he was angry at Kate for making the boys paranoid about getting dirty, and that they always had to be perfectly clean. He was really angry about it. But I wasn't sure at the time, if that was just normal stuff that goes on between couples in marital stress, especially with 8 kids to deal with. Or was that a glimpse of something really wrong with their relationship? He was really putting her down about that, and seemed very resentful. But at the same time, he was nice enough to spend his entire day with his boys, doing something special. Although it seemed more enjoyable for Jon than the kids, as they were just running around mostly.
