Beat Her Down Lawyers Want LAPD Records
Ah, the power of a celebrity lawyer.
Chris Brown's legal team is demanding to know who leaked the battered Rihanna photo and filed a motion Wednesday seeking police personal and investigative records.
Reports say that Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, wants all police documentation to see if he can find evidence of police misconduct so he can discredit and attack the credibility of the officer witnesses. By doing this, they may form a basis for the case against the R&B singer to be dismissed.
Geragos wrote in the filing that he believes a Los Angeles Police Department officer sold the photo of a bruised Rihanna. Meanwhile, the police are running their own invesitagation, but with no new information.

his lawyer has EVERY right to try to find out who leaked it, Rhianna has every right to try to find out who leaked it. That picture can hurt his case, the state's case, is embarrassing for Rhianna and is a crime if a cop leaked it. worse if he took money for it.
As sad as it is, I won't be surprised if it works. I actually think if it gets dismissed in this way it will be worse for Chris Brown's career than it already is. You do have to wonder what kind of parents would raise a son like this and with that kind of evidence to prove it (putting aside who leaked the photo for the time being), I know damn well if it was my brother(not that he would ever do anything like this), my mother would MAKE him take responsibility for his actions and not make the girl suffer anymore than she already has done at his hands. How a man can look at a photo of what he did to another human being like that and continue to shirk his responsibility I do not know, we all make mistakes but at least most of us have the balls to own up to them and try and make amends. I hope they throw the book at him.
It made me feel ill, seeing the police photo of Rihanna. I think this whole thing would have been swept under the carpet if that photo was'nt leaked. Anyone who does this to another human being needs to be held accountable, no matter what. He should step up and be a man and face what he's done. If the case does get dismissed, his reputation and career will never recover.
