Kiefer Might Go To Jail In Los Angeles!
While Kiefer Sutherland may be getting off easy in New York for now, he might be facing a different story in Los Angeles, where the actor is serving a 5 year probation sentence for his most recent DUI conviction.
According to the terms of the DUI, Sutherland must "obey all laws" and an LA criminal defense attorney not involved with the case explained that "if Sutherland's found in violation of probation for battery, and if he was intoxicated at the time, he could very well be sentenced to another 48 days or more."
LA City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan says that his office will be getting in touch with the NYPD regarding the case.

If you're famous, and you're under LA jurisdiction, it's laughable to think that any jail time would be served. It just does not happen. Of course, if you're the guy next door, that's different.
It's LA, and he is famous. they will send him a gift basket with a note attached asking him to "please not do that again…oh, and could the sherrif have an autograph for his daughter".

I love Kiefer Sutherland and think he's a great actor, but how many chances is this guy going to get?? Maybe they should put him in rehab this time instead of jail. He obviously has a substance abuse problem.

I'm surprised he is drinking in public anyway. Usually that's a condition as well. He clearly needs help. Multiple offenders (where alcohol is involved) usually have a problem with it.
Got a soft spot for Kiefer. Always be the Bay Boy to me. Needs to get his shit together though. Go somewhere away from the limelight and work on that nasty nasty alcohol problem. Talent like his is so often wasted by substance abuse. Hate to see it happen to him.
