SUSPENDED! LA Dodgers Star Player Tests Positive For Drugs

The Los Angeles Times reports that lazy ass Dodger's outfielder Manny Ramirez will be suspended for 50 games for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs.
A formal announcement about the test results and the suspension is expected this afternoon.
The suspension makes Ramirez the biggest star penalized under baseball's testing program that started in 2003.
Way to go, asshole.

As someone said here, it may be doctor prescribed…… if so, he should have asked his doctor to prescribe something else and this was a banned substance. You gotta know the rules and abide by them…….

I take issue with this posting and hope that you will consider not being so quick to rush to judgment without getting all the facts. The MLB drug rules have been an issue for so many players. They think they are taking supplements or prescribed drugs that are okayed by the rules but are not. They are then suspended. Its a travesty. In Manny's case it was not illegal steroids but a prescribed drug that he thought was okay. Can you fault him for that? Or do you fault the Players Association for having ambiguous rules?
