      I can see both sides of this coin. I voted for Gays to have the right to marry however with that privilege will come a slew of other groups that feel they are discriminated against. These people who believe it is ok for a 10 year old girl to marry a 45 year old man because her father owes him money. Grown men who want to marry young boys or girls (these men are not gay, they are pedophiles). People who want to have sex with animals, men who want to have multiple wives and also people from the middle east who think it is ok to circumcise little girls to ensure their virginity upon marriage. That does not mean I agree, but bibically, it is fact..If you know any of the bible, the old testament was very strict, and there was alot of different things that were untolerated. I mean back then, in order to get forgiveness, or whatever, you had to kill an animal, (sacrifice)…The whole old testament is kind of strange, but that being said, there are so many things in the old testament that are not followed today, because people could not then or now live so strickly, that is what Jesus Christ was brought for. I have been privy to the frustrations and struggles that he has endured since he was a child, due to the ignorance and hatred of so many others that claim to be Christian.       Last, I have been to law school and know that the slippery slope argument is one of the least credible, over used go-to tactics. One may use this simple tactic to argue anything… the fact is that the law is there to regulate and protect the public and does so by drawing a line. The law should be equal and adopt civil unions as the status quo for both heterosexual and homosexual unions. It is undeniable that homosexuality, whatever your beliefs on its origination, is not going away and the numbers are growing.       At the end of the day, no matter how unjustified and or ignorant the argument of those who do not agree with homosexuality may be, denying the rights of this group is simply wrong.
