Who knew the Gossip Girl had it in her?
Taylor Momsen's band - The Pretty Reckless - has signed on with DAS Communications, Ltd, the same folks responsible for the Black Eyes Peas, Fergie, The Fugees, and John Legend.
And, they've even scored a deal with Interscope Records.
Not bad!

Does every actress get a record contract? hillary duff, lindsey lohan etc. I understand the marketing behind the label to take advantage of the built in audience of the "gossip girls" thinking they'll buy her music as well. Labels are all about making a quick buck not caring about long term, which is why the industry is dead.
