Miss California Pageant Officials Pick An Alternate Miss California!
The Miss California USA pageant heads held a press conference at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills to discuss the issues surrounding the current Miss Cali embarrassment, Carrie Prejean.
In attendance at the conference was Miss California first runner-up, Miss California Teen USA, Executive Director of the Miss California Pageant, Keith Lewis, and Co-Executive director Shanna Moakler.
The press conference began with Lewis talking about the program and mentioning how they supported Prejean in the beginning but can no longer support someone who is going against the organization's beliefs and the contract she signed.
Turns out Miss Diva Prejean doesn't even speak to the California officials any longer. In fact, according to Keith, she's now surrounded herself by a group of "handlers" and advisers" who fail to effectively communicate with them on her behalf.
Looks like Prejean needs to get a new team of handlers!
Oh, and Prejean's camp is also asking for "security." The first beauty contestant ever to ask for security. WTF?
Puh-lease!
The pageant officials claim that Carrie is no longer doing events with the Miss California officials and has not made herself available to them. So, in response, the heads have chosen Tami Farrell, the 2009 Miss California First Runner-Up, to be the new Miss California Ambassador.
Basically they found a better replacement for her!
Keith added that he does not know what Donald Trump's decision tomorrow will be regarding Prejean's title.
We hope Trump makes the right decision, though.

Keith said, "As long as she bears the name California on her titles, she has an obligation to everyone who lives here."
Lewsi said to crazy Maggie Ghallager of the homophobic National Organization for Marriage that "42% of donations in 2007 went into your own pocket." He put her on blast!
Shanna stated, "She entered the contest under false pretense."
Moakler added: "Accepting the title comes with the responsibility to represent everyone in her state, not just those who share her opinion."
Fingers crossed that Trump will do the right thing at his press conference tomorrow. However, we have a feeling he's gonna give the lying Prejean yet another chance!

Perez, you've made your point…but you've overdone it! You asked her for an honest answer to a sensible question and she gave her opinion. Granted, you did't like it and you didn't have to and its cost her. You need to back off now. You've ruined her. Because she gave you her honest opinion. I'm sorry you didn't like it but it was her opinion, not Prop Hate! You're on the verge of becoming just like the people behind Prop Hate because you won't let go. I disagree with this chick's point of view, but I support her in her right to express it. Heck, I don't think that she was out of line the way that she answered Perez's question. However, it is apparent that give her a little rope and she is gonna hang her self in no time.
I got in touch with my inner Freud, and theorize that homophobics are just subconsciously gay people who have had ridiculous puritanical ideals drilled into their heads over a long period of time by their unhappy latent-homosexual parents out of shame of not meeting their latent-homosexual parents stipulations.

This has nothing to do with her stance on gay marriage. She became a media hog, has violated her contract and has not fulfilled any of her duties/obligations as Miss California. If you or I don't do our job, we get fired. She is not doing her job, she should be fired. Plain and simple. All these excuses that she will lose her crown because she is against gay marriage is moot. She has gone rogue on the pageant. They (the pageant) ought to force her to pay them for the breast implants and then relieve her of her crown.

So this is how the gay community wants to promote itself - as people who want personal freedoms themselves, but also entitlement to deny other people their own personal freedoms (such as freedom of speech)? I have to admit I'm perplexed at this hypocrisy. For example, just because someone of another religion says they believe in something I don't, I don't then feel I am entitled to attempt to destroy that person. Geesh, that is really sick, truly; and scary. It's these kinds of concerns that keep people from supporting things like gay marriage. I doubt that many people really give a s**t who marries who in this world; but they definitely don't want to find themselves being attacked and having their own rights taken away by using that as an excuse (i.e., a minister who refuses to marry a gay couple being sued; etc.). If you want to earn true respect and fair equal rights (to which you are entitled), then you have to put aside whatever psychological c**p and anger and hatred is the undercurrent of your motivations - because we can see it. Not just gays - everyone needs to do that.

Miss North Carolina, the winner of the Miss USA competition, was also asked a political question–about bailouts. She responded by disapproving of the federal government bailing out private companies. Yet this answer, which 1) runs counter to the policies adopted by our national government, 2) stands in stark opposition to the actions of our President, and 3) is more a matter of current debate than gay marriage, was not considered "controversial" by anyone. Why not?
The propganda and hatred you've incited towards this girl makes her feel threatened enough to need a bodyguard. This IS a hate crime. She is a young girl who's lived a simple life and now you're scaring her. WOW! Anyone who can't see what you're doing and thinks it's about "rights" is way off base. I keep hearing that she's suppose to represent the majority of people in California… in particular in regards to gay marriage. Going by the vote count from November, she's doing that yet she's being lynched for it.
I'm still waiting for Perez to go after Miss Rhode Island for her breaking contract by being photographed in some risque pictures. When it comes down to it, that will be what the current Miss California would be canned for.

Why Perez was even a judge on the pageant is beyond me. Apparently a person needs no sort of credentials to be a judge… makes the whole Miss USA thing seem all that more pointless.

MISS TEEN USA did her job, but she partied hearty which was not representative of the pageant. I felt she should have been let go too, but Trump gave her a pass, as long as she cleaned up her act.
You are also wrong about titgate. She was with NOM before her BOOBs were even brought into play. NOM literally grabbed her from the pageant stage. She has brought this all on herself. Miss California is a sad reflection of my generation. We know she is not religious by any means (take a look at her nude photos thank God she got those implants! She says she was brought up to believe that marriage is only for a man and a woman. Well does she also believe a virgin gave birth to Jesus, or that Moses parted the Red Sea? Miss California says “We are living in the 21 century” she is a liar. For those of us that are living in the now have evolved into some pretty spectacular human beings, too bad she is not one of them.
