Sheen Snubbed!

| Filed under: Exclusives!Film FlickersCharlie Sheen

As we reported a couple of weeks ago, a sequel to the iconic '80s film Wall Street is in the works.

Oliver Stone has signed on to once again direct the film and Michael Douglas will be reprising his role as Gordon Gekko.

Shia LaDouche is "in negotiations" to join the film, but somebody noticeable absent from the sequel talk is original cast member Charlie Sheen.

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that the filmmakers approached Sheen with an insulting offer.

An insider tells us, "First, they only asked Charlie to make a cameo in the film. And, also, they practically wanted him to do it for free."

Sheen is hoping to get a larger role in the movie. And rightfully so, don't ya think?

"Charlie thinks it's a mistake to make Wall Street 2 without him," a source tells us.

What do U think????

Who cares!!! I'm so tired of all these sequels and remakes!! Does no one have an original idea anymore? I mean, I know that some remakes are better than the original like Star Trek, but most of the time it's just unnecessary. Just saying.

  2. 2

Well, duh…of course Charlie Sheen would think it would be a mistake to make the movie without him. What's the name of the last movie he starred in?

  3. 3

    OMG, D l i s t e d has Kelly Clarkson looking as fat as Beth Ditto!!! :(

  4. 4

It's only decent if the original cast returns, otherwise it's just a recycled movie idea

  5. 5

Well doesn't it depend what the fucking movie is about? The first movie ended with Sheen's character having betrayed Gekko, so why the fuck would they be interacting 20+ years later? So what, Martin Sheen has to be in it too? And Daryl Hannah? Pick a plot and if those characters are essential to it, then yes, they should be, but they shouldn't be in there just to be in there.

Two and a Half Men Rocks! I love that damn show.

  7. 7

    i like him

  8. 8

As long as they have Michael Douglas, I don't care about the rest of the cast.
"Greed is good. Greed is great." - Gordon Gekko.

  9. 9

Obvious, Charlie Sheen IS Wall Street.

  10. 10

wtf if he's not in it that's pretty dumb.. he was the main character!! and i've always felt that the ending of wall street was pretty.. unfinished.
like he just goes to jail. and thats it. i cant wait for the remake but i really really hope they put him in it.

  11. 11

Who gives a flying crap. Why can't anybody write anything new? Hollywood producers are a bunch of old losers with their eye on money, and not life.

Wall Street the sequel? They did that, it was called "Boiler Room".

As for Charlie Sheen, ick. Not an actor, just a son of a good one.

  12. 12

who cares about the hooker loving Charlie, he always will love to pay for p u s s! I love how pathetic celebs try to act so innocent yet they are the scum of the earth!!! If people *changed* and want privacy they wouldn't chat with gossip mags!

  13. 13

    1- who cares?
2- i love how this site is a total sell out. the homepage is always a different ad for a movie or whatever.

    Love Charlie, love Wall Street.

HOWEVER, they're offering him what he's worth.

HE'S EXPENSIVE TO INSURE for anything, let alone, a movie. He's lucky to have a recurring role on TV.

He knows it, or he would be more vocal in opposing the Wall Street sequel.

    Who gives a shit?

  17. 17

Perez I can't believe you go so out of your way to defend gay people but when you know Charlie Sheen has called people the N word, you act like you don't care….Quit defending this piece of crap!

  18. 18

hes such a hasbeen wtf did he expect??

  19. 19

Re: Cath4Respect – LOLZ "don't pitch the bitch"

  20. 20

    He was the movie.
I won't watch it without him and I suspect many others won't either.
So make the movie without him at your own peril.

@3 Kelly clarkson IS beth ditto lol!

  23. 23

I loathe Charlie Sheen. He is a horrible actor, delivers every line the exact same way. And he is a horrible human being too. I think it's a GREAT idea to ignore him in Wall Street II.

  24. 24

i can't STAND this guy and to anyone who likes 2 1/2 men…..WHY!?!? it's the same lame ass jokes about how Charlie Sheen plays his women. Does anyone other than me find him repulsive?

  25. 25

It is a mistake to make Wall Street 2…..

  26. 26

Charlie Sheen's portrayal of Bud Fox was masterful. Forget Hot Shots Part Deux, 3.5 Men and all the other mediocre performances since. That said, he should be thankful that Oliver Stone gave him any role in the remake. It's simple folks. The Bud Fox character was phased out at the end of the Wall Street I. Bud Fox has moved onto a sedate, boring, typical career path. He's on the straight and narrow and not affiliated with Wall Street anymore. Perhaps he is a senior executive at Blue Star now. Maybe he is a yoga instructor in Santa Cruz.

The truth is stranger than fiction, and Oliver Stone has plenty of material to work with in the sequel. I'd love to see him tie in government corruption and make the plot international. Make hedge fundists into a global mafia with connections with real mafias (and also media and government and law enforcement agencies) and throw in all kinds of tech gadgetry. It could be fast paced like a James Bond plot.

  27. 27

Get him signed on and pay him for Christ sake

  28. 28

Charlie is the only reason I would even consider seeing a sequel. Dump the mummy Michael Douglas and get Charlie instead.

  29. 29

Charlie Sheen is a SHITBURGER! He should never be in any movie ever again. He should never have been in any movies to begin with.

  30. 30

He hasn't aged well. So give him das boot.

Charlie should reflect how his poor lifestyle; aka smoking, bad diet, no exercise has totally robbed him of his "Wall Street" great looks.

  31. 31

Charlie Sheen is an American legend!!!
If they don't put him in this movie then it's not worth the remake.

  32. 32

Love Charlie! I think most people would want to see him in it. The producers should be smart enough to know that.

  33. 33

Yes he is right…w/o him the movie will blow. However I do have to agree w/ Coopsmum, I'm sick and tired of all the sequals, wtf is wrong w/Hollywood as of late, no new ideas left?

  34. 34

He is a horrible actor. So why start a movie with an addition disadvantage like him!

  35. 35

Bud Fox had his liscenses and trading credentials yanked by the SEC in the original. It would be ridiculous to think he would add anything to sequal, other than boobie and fart jokes.

  36. 36

I agree, Sheen and his terrible dramatic acting needs to be in Wall Street 2 !!!

  37. 37

    Wake up RATBASTARD!!!!!!!!!! you homotard!!!!!!!!!1

  38. 38

Re: ballsdeep88 – that's exactly what I was thinking. The TODAY SHOW has better gossip than Perez apparently

  39. 39

So what, its a remake, not a sequel…so they should have new people…and he isnt exactly a big star like he was back then so he cant really expect to get top billing…

  40. 40

Re: UrMajestyMsG – Morning Hottie…yer up early????
    What up???

  41. 41

Re: Long Dong Connery – Good Morning Sir…

  42. 42

Re: Long Dong Connery – yeah, i took off early yesterday, so i had to come in early today…well didnt have to but i got to get a few things done for a client. how about u, missed ya around here yesterday…lol

  43. 43

i think its a big mistake to make wall street 2 with or without him…..
    who cares about this movie?

  44. AMO says – reply to this

It will fail if most of the original cast isn't starring in it. What's everyone's deal with Charlie anyway? He's a great actor and so charismatic. Who cares what he did in his personal life in the past? That's not what he gets paid for on screen.

  45. 45

Nobody gives a rats ass about harlie Sheen.

  46. 46

The movie should be a tug of war between Charlie Sheen and Michael Douglas for the young Shia.

  47. 47

YES!! The movie will def not be the same without Charlie Sheen!!! That's nuts! He's a main character!!!! Get over your ego Oliver Stone and put Charlie in!!

  48. 48

    I'd rather see Sheen than Douglas because ___ ___ ___ _____!

    Fill in the blank.

  49. 49

I think it's a mistake to remake it WITH or WITHOUT him. Lame idea.

  50. 50

He's a talentless twat and Douglas and Sheen Sr. acted circles around him in the first film. Good riddance.

  51. 51

    Re: Long Dong Connery
    there is something
    about you that is

  52. 52

    Re: SheriMoonZombie – Give me a kiss….its been a while….

  53. 53

    I can't/won't watch it without Charlie.lol

  54. 54

    Not a Charlie Sheen fan

  55. 55

i think making W2 without charlie is a HUGE mistake. why would they even do another Wall Street without him? he was the best thing in the movie. what morons some producers are these days!

  56. 56

It would be ridiculous if Sheen wasn't in the sequel. For all of his antics, he's still a pretty decent actor, and funny too.

  57. 57

  58. 58

I think his character has come and gone the movie will be better with out him, and michael douglas playing a bernie madoff type character, young guns old gun screwing everyone else type like the first but with new blood that is the only way it will work,
    sorry charlie!

  59. 59

First, they shouldn't even make a remake. Second, if they are making it Sheen should be the mentor and Douglas should be taking his nap.

  60. 60

who is Charlie Sheen? Who Cares! I hope they do not give him a dime

  61. 61

Sheen is a great draw, mistake without him.

  62. 62

I think it is a mistake to make Wall St 2 at all…..there will be no audience for this cast….

  64. 64

I think it would better withOUT him, he's a big fucking DOUCHEBAG (who's aging so badly it hurts to look at him). I can't fucking stand him and wouldn't go see this if he was in it.
