When Your Career Is Over….

Western genre darling Kevin Costner is developing with A&E a miniseries about post-Civil War conflicts during the settlement of the West.
At the moment, Costner is simply executive producing, but he may direct parts of the series, as well as star in it.
According to A&E's senior vp drama programmer, Tana Nugent Jamieson, "Costner understands the Western better than anybody, and he respects the genre. He knows every bit of detail about the West; this is a genre he feels a lot of passion for. It's a perfect fit."

I like kevin costner, and he was pretty hot back in the day. and yeah he hasnt been in that many roles lately, but i wish that he could get his career going again.

I have to say I am a little put off by the title of this posting. I have no doubt Mr. Costner is doing this out of sincere passion, AND he's likely funding every penny of the production. My grandfather was a historian on Native American tribes, and had the honor of working with Mr. Costner. Costner is incredibly passionate about civil and post civil war eras. I mean he developed and directed one of the best movies of all time, Dances With Wolves, over a 5 year period!!! Give the guy a hand… and leave the disses to the likes of Paris and all those other reality hoity toities that deserve it. Cheers.

His career is far from over. He got tens of movies left to do, including The Postman 2 and 3 and Waterworld 2 and 3. Ok, only joking. He STILL got a career.
I think his best movie was "Dances with wolves". I loved it.
