Anna Nicole's Former Lawyer Pleads Not Guilty!

Howard K. Stern pleaded not guilty to charges of illegally furnishing prescription drugs to Anna Nicole Smith today, Wednesday.
Following the arraignment in L.A. County Superior Court, Stern's lawyer, Steve Sadow, explained his plans to seek a complete dismissal of the charges because "Howard is not a doctor, not a medical practitioner and the statute does not apply to him."
That's clever!
Physicians Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich also pleaded not guilty.
The main point of the case is the thousands of pills that the trio supplied to Smith, knowing that she'd had problems with drugs before. According to prosecutors, Stern and the doctors used fake names to fill prescriptions for the drugs that would eventually kill Smith.
Everyone is due back in court in June to establish a date for the preliminary hearing.
We hope that Stern doesn't manage to weasel his way out of this one!

I really don't know what the prosecution plans on accomplishing by following up on these people. The whole situation is way to complicated to even try. Especially with Stern. I don't know what good it will do to try and make him serve time when he will only manage to keep it at a minimun any way. He will be a model prisoner and will make parole in no time. Look at the actor that killed those kids in that drunk driving accident and he is due out in like 2 months. He prob. only did 2 yrs. I guess some people think that a little time is better than no time but I think he created his own sentence. It has always been obvious how obsessed he was with ANS and now that she is gone, no thanks to him, he will forever live with only the memory of her and Dan. He will always see Dannylyn being raised by another man and if that isn't torture enough then I don't know, cuz I don't think that can be topped. I am sure he is ever so haunted by her memory every day of his life and always will be. He did it to himself.

And yes I have to say that I totally agree with Ironman on here. VERY GOOD POINT!! It is common sense that we all have levels of that which we consider an appropriate match for someone of her fame level and her beauty as well. Face it, druggie or not she was gorgeous and she most likely would not have picked HS had she been sober. She was with whoever was going to tolerate her and feed her need for drugs and he was going to give her what ever she wanted so that she would keep him around. And I also think that after her son died she really relied on him to keep her going. He was the closest thing to her that could comfort her or make her feel ok with herself and her situation. Remember the video tape of her when she was pregnant and she had clown makeup on her face and he was saying creepy shit about how "this is worth some money" and "you don't want the media to get a hold o this tape" She was clueless of course and as pathetic as it was it was just the usual Howard bullshit, him setting her up as usual. Yo. Sup? Prez, this is funny. I worked at this apt. complex about 7 years ago in Santa Monica (The Shores) to be exact, before Howard was even linked to Anna Nicole. I was the Accounts Admin so it was my responsibility to collect rent. Howard rented an apartment there for around $1500 a month and every month I would have to call him repetedly to collect his rent and every time he would try and say that he had ants, or roaches, or whatever and that he was a lawyer and wouldn't pay. He was in a rent controled apt. was suposedly a "high power lawyer" yet he chilled at the pool every day and would try to con his way out of rent every month. He was very rude and demeaning and I used hate having to call him for rent knowing what a douche he would be. Interesting to see him now. Bad things happen to bad people.
