Suprised, we get raped by the phone company the electric company the water company the gas company, the insurance companies, and banks. The government just gives them a license to rape us over and over again.

That's awful. Where's the competition? Doesn't a government agency have to approve this merger like they do with larger companies (banks, investment firms, etc.)?

STOP supporting these next-door-to-criminal ticket and booking agencies!! Do you know that in the 60's and 70's every major market\city had it's own promoter?? Now they've all been put out of business first by, sad to say local legend here, Don Law and his organization(s); and now this LiveNation monster (again apparently tied to Don Law). Add in Ticketmaster and its a friggin monopoly. Where are the feds when you really need them?? It's like a gang taking over turf!!
