Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are expecting a baby boy in August, according to reports!

"Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and - surprise, surprise - it's blue," a friend close to the couple blabbed to In Touch Weekly.

Nicole is on a blue hued shopping spree too, according to the pal. "[Nicole] recently ordered some plush animal and infant toys from FAO Schwarz, and everything just happens to be blue."

doesn't anyone of these 'celebrities' get superstitous anymore? I had difficult pregnancies and 4 miscarriages-I would not buy ANYTHING for either baby until each one came home from the hospital. (people bought me onsies and my son was born in august and my daughter was born 16 years ago today during a warm spell so a package of onsies did fine. If anything happened to them, I would not want to come home to a fully done room-my friend did-her baby was still born at 42 weeks

I don't really believe anything you say, considering the amount of "Oops - we were wrong!" that you end up posting on your site. However, I think she's a great mom & another baby would look good on her. =)
