      Um…I love, love, love Katy Perry but the fact of the matter is that her performance totally sucked last night. The outfit was very unflattering too. She looked like she had a FUPA. Also, she can't dances very awkwardly. Her music is still hot though. I freaking hated that stupid Lambert cape too.

      i get the sense that she tries too hard sometimes to be trendy. she's poppy and what's hot right now but i can't imagine her being a legend in the future like Cher, or Madonna. i can't imagine telling my kids, "and that was Katy Perry, a living legend…" although i wish she would prove me wrong.

      Agreed. I love Katy Perry too, her outfit was awesome, and it's cool that she is supporting Adam but it was a little rude and her singing was not so great. It's a fun song though and she was having fun with it, but when she sings Thinking Of You is when she really shows her talent.

      100% agree. I'll never understand how people who CAN'T sing become so fucking rich and famous as singers… Britney, Madonna, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Paula Abdul, Miley Cyrus, et al. There are thousands if not millions of girls/women with true talent waiting very patiently to be discovered. And what's even more ironic… you have this very talent show, AI, focusing on singing… and the very people that couldn't even get past Hollywood are STILL 100 times better than the female "singers" I listed above.

All you people that say she sucks by judging this ONE performance really need to look up Katy Perry and you'll find the definition of AMAZING. She has the most vocal talent and originality of any other music artist of this decade. She also has the greatest relationship with fans, and her personality is nothing short of awesome.       1. She wore that costume to look like ELVIS. You all say shes trying to be edgy or some bullcrap, it was ELVIS. Case solved.

      2. The reason the "millions of people with true talent" make it nowhere is because they can't handle it. Just because you can sing does NOT mean you can cut it. Theres many factors that will play into how far you make it in the music business.
