Kate Gosselin Wants More $$$, Says Sister-In-Law
Oh boy! Things are getting worse and worse for the Gosselin Family.
Seems there will be no more trips to Aunt Jodi's house for Jon and Kate Gosselin's eight kids. Not after Jodi and her husband (Kate's brother) Kevin, royally sold her out to Star Magazine.
The couple explained to the mag that they departed the series after season three when TLC offered money to the pair for their part in the program. This did not sit well with Kate.
Kevin says: "Her reasoning for pushing me and Jodi away was because the more people you split it up between, the less there is!"
Adds Jodi, "It has turned into a huge moneymaking machine…and the money has become priority No. 1 with Kate."
Wowza! And that's coming from your family.
Kevin also discloses that money is so much Kate's priorty, she doesn't even share with Jon!
"He told me he had to empty his 401K to survive!," says Kev.
Well, we knew she was a hard-ass, but we had no idea she was a Scrooge!
Sidenote - Kate GROSSlin, in addition to her paychecks for her show and books, arranges meet-and-greet tea parties charging $150 per person and $20 per autograph.

This is old news. happened a year or so back. They wanted to pay Aunt Jodi and Kate kaboshed it. then Jodi said never mind i will work for free, i just want to see the kids. then the next season again they wanted to pay Aunt Jodi but Kate said no. Also Kate hated that Jodi made her look worse. Jodi was always so good with the kids, even the older twin who is such a drama girl. So Kate stopped with visits to Aunt Jodi's. Kate's the OG of Octomom's! I can't believe how every "celebrated" this family but gave Suleman shit for not being able to provide a stable home for her kids. Now they have to decide how to split time with 8 kids all while Kate continues to pimp them out to maintain that stupid 80s hairdo she seems to think is so "in demand"! The Gosselins, The Duggars; all these weirdos that have large families then rely on charity or endorsements just to keep them alive make me sick to my stomach. They need to be subjected to forced sterilization!!!
Who in the F does she think she is? It's tragic that she is the "model" for her children. I will not watch that show ever again. She's exploiting her kids for cash. If she couldn't afford them; she shouldn't have had them! I feel for those kids.

Gahh. I dont mean to sound too much like chris crocker but leave the gosselins alone already! Geez. Like a troubled marriage isn't enough. Every couple's got their own set of problems and it just sucks for them that their shit is being publicly displayed.
And ugh, that Jodi……. grr. I thought I liked her but she's been nothing but a super hypocrite if anything. They're just bitter about being kicked off the show. Whatever the reason, they shouldn't be verbally bashing their OWN freaking family to the media. Its just plain distasteful, no matter how fucked up someone is. I still love Kate. I really don't think she is exploiting her kids in anyway. I never heard anyone say anything about her "exploiting" her children until this whole drama with Jon's affair and her supposed affair with the body guard. As for Kate's brother and his wife (a.k.a. aunt jodi) what they are doing is so wrong they're obviously pissed that they were cut out of the show so they wouldn't have to be paid. Who are they to be talking negitively to the media about their family. Kate has 8 children to feed and send to college she needs to make all the money she can so she can properly take care of her 8 beautiful children. Since when is that so terribly wrong. All these comparisons between Kate and Octo-mom are ludacris. Octo-mom is obviously the TRUE attention whore between the two. LEAVE KATE ALONE
Do they really care about their kids? He's out playing footies, she's traveling with her books and tea parties! Who's home with the kids! Are they only there when the cameras are on? Wonder how much the Gosselins are worth?
If you want to watch a true family, watch that couple that has 20 kids! They make their own soap, shop at thrift stores they even built their own home.

Re: VelvetStaccato – I'm with you except on one part - the Duggars. They actually had plenty of money to support their children and the show came long after they could afford to support themselves. They even pay for the children to go on mission trips to learn about "the real world". You rarely ever see them apart either. And to boot, they are the type of couple you can just look at and know better - no real bickering, nagging, whining and moaning. I don't get into those types of shows, but I do read news and they built a huge house for their family long before any show.

Jon and Kate plus eight is my favorite show, I love seeing the kids grow and respond to situations, its just plain cute! I think all the magazines are taking this way to far! they are not thinking about what will happen to the kids after putting there magazines out on stands! Yes, Kate can be controlling, yes john is not the most patient dad ( as seen when he takes the little ones around there back yard ) No one is thinking about those amazing little kids! And peoples comments on here are crazy! Octo mom is the total opposite of kate, Kate works for her money, not always the right way but still she is not looking for the attention as octo mom is, Kate cares about her kids not her being what everyone is talking about. Regardless next time you talk about Jon and Kate bring up how sorry you are for the kids, because they are going through a lot right now!

yeah i used to like them and even defend kates bitchiness. but she has let money and fame go to her head. shame on anyone who wears their children on their sleeve for financial gain. jon should get custody of the kids and move to hawaii where his family lives. they would help him out and be really good influences on the kids. kate can continue her fame whoring money making way here in the states and pay alimony!!
I think it's sick that these relatives are going to the media and bashing them. Maybe Kate and Jon did be rude to them… but how does that make it right? People need to learn to deal with their issues privately. It's funny how Jodi says they don't care about the money.. but they were probably offered money FOR the interview. Frick. Re: Lizzal – Kevin and Jodi care about the kids. Kevin has his own business and has always made good money. They've stood by and watched these kids being exploited. I'm glad their conscious finally allowed them to speak up. The kids will be grateful someday, a feeling Kate has never experienced.
