Kirstie Alley Ain't Gonna Be Happy About This!
We mentioned earlier that Jenny Craig spokeswoman Valerie Bertinelli has reached out to former spokeswhore Kirstie Alley to help her get back to a healthy weight.
Well, she's taken it a step further now: Bertinelli wants to be Alley's mentor!
That's kind of a slap in the face since Kirstie was Valerie's mentor once upon a time.
How the tables have turned!
Valerie told ABC's Nightline: "I'll hold her hand. Oh, I would just - I'm telling you - I think it would be the greatest thing. There's so many people that come up to me wherever I am, and they say I was on the program a couple of years ago, and then I stopped, and then I see that you've had success, so I'm coming back. It's not a bad thing to stop something and come back to it. You're not a failure. You're never a failure. As long as you keep getting back up."

I mean, it's easy. If you want to lose weight, just take in less calories per day than you put out. Simple math. If your body burns 2200 calories in one day, then every calorie you eat over that amount will add weight. Every calorie before it and you'll lose weight. For every 3200 calories less that you eat, you'll lose one pound so each half as much per day and you'll lose a pound every few days.
So Perez, if you fall off the wagon in a few months — or a few years — and gain back some, or all, of the weight you worked so hard to lose (since statistically, most people who lose weight do gain it, and more, back) are you going to post pictures of yourself with the words FAT or FAILURE written across them and write about what a douche/loser/failure/has-been you are because you fell off the healthy wagon?
