David Hasselhoff's ex-wife, Pamela Bach, spoke with reporters on the red carpet of Wednesday night's Maxim's Hot 100 party and only had words of encouragement for her ex.
Really?????
The Hoff, who has been openly struggling with alcoholism, recently spent a night in the hospital for booze poisoning.
His ex, however, said, "The only thing I can say is that he's the father of my children, and I will always love and respect that" and wished him only the best in dealing with a "very cunning and baffling disease."
We wish him the best too!

my friend was at dinner and saw him with a group of women. He was sooo drunk the restaurant had some men help him walk out.

She's right and good for her to put her pride to the side and encourage him. Unfortunately alcoholism is a disease, and not only does it destroy the addicts life but it will destroy the lives of everyone who loves him as well. Unless you are prepared to be taken down with the alcoholic, the best thing to do is get out and away from it. The disease will hurt everyone he loves, and until he fully sobers up and admits the destruction its caused it will continue to get worse and worse. Good for her to get out of that marriage and get her kids out of it also… its a miserable life.

alcoholism is cunning and BAFFLING? Hoff has been a lush long enough to know how it works. YOU CAN"T HAVE EVEN ONE DRINK. Nothing cunning or baffling about that. He's just still in denial.
Just so everyone knows, that "cunning and baffling" quote is a direct quote from the Big Book of AA. That is exactly what AA says that it is cunning and baffling. FYI. Agree or disagree with them, but she's probably all up in AlAnon (meetings for family and friends) or has read it herself, but ppl don't just invent this sh*T, they say it thinking it makes them profound when it was take from a program that helps millions of ppl stop drinking.

Alcoholism IS a cunning and baffling disease to anyone who loves an alcoholic. That is because as alcoholism progresses it causes its victim to repress intellect under emotion. So, all decisions become emotionally charged and lacking intellect. So their actions are BAFFLING.
The cunning part is that even someone with many years of sobriety can slip and go back to drinking if it sneaks up on them.
That is why STAYING involved in AA is so important.
There is NO CURE for alcoholism, but the disease can be arrested.
