Terry Gilliam can finally make his movie - and it only took nine years.
The mastermind behind the last Heath Ledger flick, is now ready to continue work on his Don Quixote film: a project that has suffered so many setbacks, a documentary was made to explain why the actual film wasn't made.
Gilliam has brought on Oscar winner Jeremy Thomas to produce and screenwriter Tony Grisoni to help him reinvent the legend into the modern era. The story centers around a filmmaker who becomes intrigued with Quixote's adventures and quest for his lady love and ultimately becomes his sidekick Sanco Panza.
The flick is set to start filming in spring.

Here is another movie no one will give a shit about. Are you saying that he is a mastermind because he directed Heath in his last flick!? Or are you basing that on all his movies? Either way he is not a mastermind. His movies are hit or miss and a bit to far apart for anyone to really care about him.

LOVE Gilliam. Loved the movie he made about the making of the Don Quixote. Looking forward to seeing his movie dream realized, finally.

I HATE Terry Gilliam! His films are terrible. I saw the documentary about this film and he is so pathetic, I can understand why no one would want him to make a movie.
Has it been confirmed that Johnny Depp will be in it?
Who's playing the lead role (please say Johnny Depp).
The film is cursed. Orson Welles tried it before, but failed… We'll see if he makes it work
