It seems the richest countries in the world, and the ones with the highest quality of living are the ones that are also progressive and welcoming to gay rights.

That's great news, it's a shame everyone else aren't as forward thinking about gay rights. I'm straight but I'm super passionate about it, keep fighting guys and gals! :) x

If Their Parents were Homosexuals They wouldn't be here!
      Just NOT right!!

The progress is great but to specify - the right to adopt only includes children within your family. A lesbian can for example adopt her wives kids. The direction we're heading is right but lets keep going!

Ugh! How would you like to grow up in a family with two mommies or two daddies? Disgusting!

Thank God you won't be hearing about progress in the Netherlands. We have those laws for AGES already, it's about freakin time the rest of the world followed. Even back in the 17th and 18th century we were way more open-minded than the rest of the world. For that I am thankful to live in the Netherlands :D

This is how it goes. You should also learn about our free healthcare and school system. We have the smartest kids in PISA tests. Also gun laws are going stricter. MORE PROGRESS IN HERE. :)

Re: ballsdeep88 – wtf are gaybys? its unfortunate that there are kids in need of good homes out there,,, whos "straight" parents either abandoned them,, couldnt care for them, or abused them so much that they had to be taken away. Im so tired of people assuming that gay people are bad parents. How many of straight parents are good? Get over it… people are people and I know a lot of gay people who would be amazing parents just as a lot of straight people. Also i know people who have been raised by gay parents and they turned out very cool in school, strong and individuals. Most of you people being negative about the issue must have hate within you stemming from something else… get over it and show some love for love.
