Scorsese And Johnny Depp Teaming Up For Sinatra Biopic?

Martin Scorsese is set to helm an authorized biopic of Frank Sinatra and….. Universal's first choice for the role is the talented Johnny Depp.
The film will not require that its lead know how to sing, as it will utilize Sinatra's own recordings through a deal with Frank Sinatra Enterprises.
It will be the first time that Scorsese and Depp work together and the results ought to be interesting.
After all, Johnny was a kick ass Hunter S Thompson!

AWESOME!! I guess Johnny will have to wear blue contact lenses to play Frank. Leo physically resembles Frank more but Johnny is a better singer. I LOVE BOTH ACTORS!!! Two of my faves!

I love Johnny Depp…..but, I don't know I feel about this. Frank "Chairman of the Board, Old Blue Eyes" Sinatra is my favorite male singer and I don't think Johnny looks anything like him. Even as a young Sinatra, Depp looks nothing like him.
So…I don't know how I feel about this.

What the French? Johnny Depp can't play old blue eyes!! he looks nothing like him, and i don't think color contacts are really going to help that. And the older generation, the Sinatra fanatics won't go see it.
I loooove Frank Sinatra!! Johnny Depp doesn't look that much like him, but he always does a really good job becoming a character, and with makeup and contacts he could be pretty convincing. Leonardo Dicaprio looks more like him, especially if he lost some weight. I wonder who they're getting to play Ava Gardner, I think Liv Tyler would be perfect.
Umm I hate to tell you but they are considering Fergie for the role of Ava Gardner. Oh well Perez, she will not be looking your way in another big movie like she wont when she does nine, since you diss her all the time. Go and kiss Britney's skanky butt.

Leo does have a fat face, but if he lost weight he could pull it off. Pretty much anyone they cast for Frank would have to slim down. The whole Fergie thing is kinda ruining it for me though.

they should've picked harry connick jr…abracaduh. he not only can act and looks like a young sinatra but obviously can sing like him as well…depp is amazing but a horrible choice for sinatra. and since leo and scorsese just cant seem to part for any film…i doubt he'll cast anyone else but him…check ur sources perez,im pretty sure martina and leo arent going stop holding hands for such a big movie.
