Out Of Jail! Survivor Winner Heading To Halfway House

Good news for tax evader Richard Hatch. He's being released from prison! Finally. Sorta.
The first-ever winner of Survivor was convicted back in 2006 for failing to pay taxes on his $1 million prize.
Oops!
Hatch was sentenced to four years and three months in jail. You know the government doesn't play around when you owe them money!
But as of this week, Hatch has been released from federal prison in West Virginia and has since been moved to a halfway house in Pennsylvania.
And in about five months, on October 7th, the convict will finally be released.
Congrats!

Hmmm. I wonder when former Senator Tom Daschle and Treasury Secretary Tim Geitner are going to start serving THEIR sentences for tax evasion! Why isn't the public more outraged (at least a little bit outraged) when government officials get away with stuff like this?

I'm sure he was very happy in there…he had more boyfriends in prison then he would have ever had on he outside.
That punishment has never made any sense to me. Put them in jail at the tax payers expense for not paying taxes instead of keeping them out, working their asses off to pay their debt to society!

Well duh… a gay guy getting sent to a free housing facility where thousands of other men are desperate for sex. Of course he didn't pay his taxes. He got to keep all his money, get a free apartment for a couple of years, all the sex he wanted with desperate convicts and now he gets to go back to his money. Not exactly a punishment.
Whatever. I'm sure Dick Hatch fit into the prison environment if you know what I mean! He was and still is an arrogant asshole! He created the whole backstabbing alliance BS on "Survivor" that eventually made me stop watching the damn show! Good riddance!

I can't believe Richard Hatch gets several years in prison and someone guilty of animal cruelty like DMX gets a few months. There's something wrong with that.
