Given that, those of us, and I suspect there are few, who wish to see just how people react to issues, the pop culture crap I could care less about, actually like to read them. It is informative on many levels, usually not good ones though, but sometimes you can be suprised. Getting feedback on certain things from "news" sites can be filtered and too one sided, depending on your viewpoints. It's actually a pretty big problem we have that does not lead to good things down the road. So Perez, though he certainly has specific views obviously, is pretty fair with how he lets his readers voice their opinions.

You're right. That sucks. Why don't gay people have more rights? Why do governments continue to enforce heterosexuality? Why do we continue to enforce monogamy at all? I think it's outlived it's usefulness. It really doesn't meet our society's needs. Most men are polygamous by nature and there's thousands more single women than men in America. A lot of lesbians are just bisexual women who can't find a husband because of demographics. Thousands of couples are separated or have open marriages because they've been together for years and they're basically sick of each other. Monogamy was created hundreds of years ago when people died before they hit 40. If people are allowed to support gay marriage, then I should be allowed to support plural marriage.
P.S. I'm not Mormon. (I know that's what you were thinking.)
