I don't like Brooke Shields as an actress whatsoever. However, in person, she is incredibly sweet and personable. And, she's very, very beautiful - more so in person. The problem with these pictures is that they look nothing like her. They've airbrushed and tweaked them way too much. Brooke is a big lady (NOT fat - just not small in anyway - she's a healthy, well-built woman); she's tall and big-boned. By airbrushing her so thin, it implies that something is wrong with her. They've over-angled her face, too, and it's disturbing. I'm surprised she went for this, but … then, again, I'm not. It's sad she's so successful and beautiful and still so insecure and easily persuaded.

Wow she looks great. She kind of reminds me of the Asian girl on the same show she was on (Lipstick Jungle). I don't think this was photoshopped too much. It doesn't look much like her but 1) she's older now, and her face should be thinnger/hollowed out and 2)she's got very heavy black eye makeup & bangs (something she doesn't sport often)-

I'm sure if anyone of us was older, had heavy eye makeup and heavy bangs we wouldn't look like ourselves either…

i like her so much better than cindy crawford. i don't know why i always compare the 2. after i had my baby i remember reading an article written by cindy about her childbirth experience, like she was the first mother to ever give birth. she was talking about how she had nannies to watch over the baby at night so she could sleep. the article touched a nerve with me and angered me. she seemed so out of touch with what "real" moms go through. brooke seemed way more down to earth about her experiences with childbirth/parenting.
