Says Iman:
"Mrs. Obama is not a great beauty… But she is so interesting looking and so bright. That will always take you farther. When you’re a great beauty, it’s always downhill for you. If you’re someone like Mrs. Obama, you just get better with age."
How nice… we think???

I don't think it was meant as an insult, at all. And I also met Iman with David Bowie and both of them were lovely~in looks and manners. She was very open and not some wicked bitch. Classy. And those of you who don't know who she is~she is an ICON, along with her husband. I wouldn't call Mrs. Obama a classic beauty but beautiful in many important ways. And I think that was what Iman was trying to say. That Michelle had the type of beauty that won't falter but better because it is on the inside, too.
I am happy that she had beauty and influential dad. she woudl not any different than all of the lard applicators in her country.

Whether or not the statement she made is true, it doesn't matter. IT SHOULDN"T HAVE BEEN SAID. She could have made the same statement without the name or without the beauty statement and it would have been just as effective. Neither Obama or Michelle are hotties, they are just average looking couple in an extraordinary situation but that doesn't make Obama handsome or Michelle beautiful or even pretty. You can't have beauty, brains, charisma and a personality. The Obama's got the brains, personality and Obama obviously got the charisma as he is the first black president.
