La Loca Lohan is adamant on proving herself as a "serious" actress with her newly snatched role in the upcoming indie flick The Other Side!
According to The Other Side producer Kent Harper, LOLhan told him, "I'm going to turn down a lot of other work right now. I really want to get serious."

Lohan continued, "I'm committed. I'm not going to be late. I'm really, really excited about doing this and working with these other actors."

Harper isn't worried one bit about La Loca Lohan's spotted past and is willing to take the fading starlet's potential dramz day by day.
Says Harper: "I believe where she's at now with her commitment to the art that she's going to be phenomenal and I'm not worried whatsoever. Now if anything happens, you just handle it as it goes."
Let's hope Lindsanity doesn't fuck it up!

Also, I read that this is the director's first movie….That says it all.
As a reminder, when Lohan was still in demand a few years ago she passed up a role in the indie movie "Bill" since a "first time director" was in charge.

I do empathize with her though. If she were to clean up her act, it wouldn't be 'postworthy'. I suppose there are a handful of people that would say that a lot of the stuff post on this site isn't really worthwhile. Yet we come here more or less every day. Welcome to the viscous cycle.
