Mel Gibson is giving away money, people.

So get in line!

This time around he is paying up to Benedict Fitzgerald, the screenwriter of Passion of the Christ.

Fitzgerald had filed a lawsuit against Mel for not being paid his dues and getting a small ass paycheck for writing the megaflick.

The suit was settled this past Friday for an undisclosed amount.

Cha-ching!
