Penelope Struck By Food Poisoning in Cannes

Penelope Cruz had to miss out on promoting her upcoming film, Nine, at Cannes due to food poisoning.

The star was scheduled to attend the premiere of her film Broken Embraces, directed by Pedro Almodóvar, and was later to join Harvey Weinstein in presenting the trailer for Nine until she became ill.

She is seeing a doctor and reportedly on the mend.

Use firefox with adblock plus, noscript and flashblock add-ons and the site is faster and much less annoying (I have to use IE to comment though, easier to do that than to figure out why I can't log in or comment with firefox.
