They've reached an agreement.
We mentioned earlier that Woody Allen is suing American Apparel over using his image in advertisments without his permission. The original lawsuit was for $10 million and the case finally went to trial this morning.
And now it's all over.
Seems that Woody caved against the people over at Los Angeles-based clothing manufacturer and agreed to settle the matter for half of his original asking price. Allen's reps are saying that American Apparel has agreed to settle his lawsuit for $5 million.
Kind of a let down actually. We were ready for this to be drawn out for awhile.
Allen should donate the $5 mill to charity!
