4th Mad Max Sequel In The Works!

With the 25th anniversary of the third installment of the sci-fi thriller Mad Max approaching, director George Miller has decided to film a 4th sequel to the Mad Max franchise!
Miller has been pokin' around Australia looking for filming locations and hopes to start filming later in the year, according to reports.
So will Mel Gibson be reprising his breakout role of Max?
Don't count on it!
Said Miller: "It won't be Mel. He was 21 when he made the first one, now he's a lot older and his passion is for filmmaking and directing. I don't think he is into acting and I don't think he would be interested in being involved at all."

I am sorry, but NO WAY!!!! MelG is Mad Max. I just can't see this working unless it's like a "prequel" He aged from film to film, why wouldn't he have aged again?? I smell a stinker.
Bring back the Falcon, please don't Hollywood it up with a wizzbang new car, won't have the same appeal.

Christian Bale is fantastic. I'd never make another Batman flick without him. If Mel does not play Max, the movie should not be made. If they do make it without him, it will probably suck. Emil Minty was the Feral Kid. He's thirty seven and you can find him on Facebook.
Not sure what your 'ouch' comment is about. The George Miller did not say painful or cutting. By the way this is news I heard before.
He's not into acting because no one is calling him for the roles he wants.
With the divorce coming through, financially it would make sense for him to do it.
'The 4th sequel' would make this the fifth Mad Max film. How does such a talentless hack like you continue to get away with it?
Take some pride in your work and at least try to do it right.

I saw his photo a few months ago, by the time they gave a party in Australia to the Mad Max aniversary. He seemed to be doing great! Cool!
