Sherri Shepherd was a welcomed addition to The View, but now she is going to be the star of her own series!

Mistake???

Shepard proudly announced to the ladies and viewers that she would be adding a primetime series to her schedule: a new comedy for Lifetime entitled Sherri.

Too soon????

The network has already ordered 12 episodes of the comedy pilot. Shepard will continue her View gig alongside filming the series, which centers on a wife who deals with her husband's infidelity by allowing the mistress and their child to move in with them.

Interesting way to handle it.

We wouldn't recommend Kate Gosselin try this at home.

Will U watch her new show?

i will probably tune in to see if the show is any good…it sounds like an interesting situation…and i luv her on the view..i like all the ladies of the view, except Hasselbitch!!! i cant wait until one of them finally snaps and dives over the table after her…omg id die of laughter…

Not at all … on the View she has no class .. especially when she eats with her mouth open all the time and hogs down ANY food on the show. A real glutton about food and very distasteful about it. One would think she starves the way she pushes food down, but then, look at her … obviously she doesn't starve!!

She is one of the most ignorant people on TV!!! Her views on same sex marriage are pathetic at best. I can't believe anyone that's gay or lesbian are still calling her friend. And her stupidity on abortion was funny. I know It's "The View" but when your views don't make sense shut up!!!

I can't stand this woman and was very disappointed in Babs Walters for hiring her. She is embarassing! There are many intelligent, talented black women in the industry but the View just can't seem to get it right…Star Jones, Whoopi, now this idiot. Sometimes wonder if Barbara even tries.

Hell no I most certainly will NOT be watching this moronic show Sherri is a fucking dumbass. How she got on the View is still a mystery to me. Shouldn't they require the people they hire to be part of the cast to have a certain level of intelligence?
