Network Throwdown

It's on!
Shows are getting cancelled left and right and, now, networks are getting fiesty with one another.
For example, NBC has decided to let go of the show Medium, a widely popular and award-winning show starring Patricia Arquette. CBS TV Studios produces the show and is rather peeved that Medium was canned when it does so much better ratings-wise than other shows NBC renewed .
A statement from the CBS Studios reads: "NBC's cancellation of 'Medium' is inexplicable to us."
Now, the company is looking to place the show on another network, perhaps even sister network CBS.
We're thinking that this is going to happen with a lot of shows that have been canceled this year. A lot of shuffling around to different networks!

Yeah Terminator TSCC got cancelled too, too many good shows get axed, your TV networks are brutal, other here in the UK a show like Medium or Terminator would run and run.
I had never watched the show until recently because I really don't watch many shows but a friend got me turned onto it so I'm trying to catch up on all the episodes and so far I love it. It figures it's being cancelled..only the shows I like are cancelled. :~(
I am so glad it will be gone … I got tired of seeing this girl yawn on her pillow … got boring and so was she.
WTF!! NBC have also cancelled My Name is Earl!!??? Are they crazy? That is a brilliant show, a very well written comedy.
Um yeah, if CBS is peeved about NBC canceling a show they produce, why don't they put on their OWN channel? duh!

I LOVE Medium! The entire cast is great! This show will be canceled but American Idol will live on? Say it ain't so….
I cant believe they cancelled Medium! I love that show and I thought it was doing really well. Even Potato Head did pretty good last night. How can they cancel that and keep other crap?

We love "Medium". It's the only show that realistically portrays an average family, minus the psychic stuff of course. Again, dumb fuck studio execs.

They are so stupid. Medium is an awesome show. However I have been catching it with the help of my DVR lately because Castle is such a great show and it is on at the same time.
Medium is a fantastic show!!! In fact, this year it's better than ever! NBC you people are NUTS!

NBC really does suck. It only wanted a crap 13 and wouldn't budge and go up to 16. I hope the show ends up on CBS with 22 episodes and goes way up in ratings just because it will finally be on a real network that it deserves!

I love the show too! I don't think they knew it was coming. They started introducing new storylines - like the daughter's increasing psychic abilities. I am sooo sick of networks canceling popular shows with good market shares that have any dip in ratings just to try out new material that inevitably doesn't catch on. I watch very few network shows anymore. And, would they please pick a timeslot that works, leave the show there and stop moving them around all season!!!

I think it's great that shows will get shuffled to other networks, maybe they'll have a better fit there. I'd rather them bring back decent shows than come up with the crappy shows they've been displaying recently.
Medium is not even in the top 20. It probably cost to much to make.

NBC has been going down the tubes. I used to love all of the L&O nights, then I got into Medium. Now, I have to search to find new L&O's on other networks, and they are canceling Medium?!?!?!?!?! I'm going to scream!
