can't ask anyone better than spielberg to make a movie about MLK. that's good!

Oh please, please, let's hope Wil Smith is NOT in this movie!

Don't be fooled. Spielberg is a wonderful director but he won't do it justice. It'll be a movie about a black guy made by a white guy for white people to learn about a black guy. Not right.

I hope an A-lister or a well known celebrity isn't chosen for the role as MLK for some reason when that happens it takes away from the movie.

@Laura; That is THE most racist thing I've ever heard! I guess you think that it should be "Tyler Perry's MLK"? Whatever! Get your head out of your ass. I guess you won't watch "The Color Purple" because Spielberg directed it. Get a fucking clue and think before you type.

Who cares if a white guy makes a film about a black guy! Except for Spike Lee

Anything Steven Spielberg does is going to be great!

As long as Will Smith doesn't get the part, I'm okay with it. I'm tired of seeing Will in everything. Time to give someone new a chance to show their stuff.

Re: TracySLC – lol, I just said the same thing. Guess I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Re: Laura – you are ignorant. People said the same thing about him when he made A Colio Purple. That movie now stands as a classic.

In another note though, since it is a biopic i wonder if jamie Foxx wants to play him too lol.

I trust Spielberg will make a great film. He has done "black" films before (The Color Purple) and it was amazing. MLK appeals to everybody, so this should be pretty easy to do. Just please don't cast Denzel. He one dimensional and would doesn't change his tone/facial expression through out the entire film.
