Donald Trump's lawyers are pushing for a defamation suit against journalist and writer Timothy O'Brien to move forward. Trump's lawyers are suggesting that his reputation has been damaged by O'Brien's claim that Trump is not a billionaire.
Umm…what?
According to unnamed sources in O'Brien's book, Trump's worth is estimated at $150 million to $250 million, but Trump maintains he is worth $5 billion, not counting the value of his brand name. Therefore, he is flaunting his wealth and demanding more, by filing a lawsuit against the writer and demanding billions in damages.
A judge will decide in two months on whether to throw the case out or put it to trial.
Ridiculous. Just ridiculous.
